Janiya frowned, her concern evident. "But he's not feeling well.." she said.

Jason offered a reassuring smile. "Don't worry, he knows what he's doing," he said.

Still, Janiya wasn't convinced. She suspected Sanford didn't want anyone to see him in such a vulnerable state-likely a side effect of whatever medication he had taken.

She turned to Shari, her voice sharp and cold. "If anything happens to my son, I'LL hold you accountable," she said.

Shari shook her head, her expression unyielding. "Mrs. Robles, I've already told you, it wasn't me," she said.

Before Janiya could respond, Carolyn's voice cut in, her smile dripping with mockery. "If it wasn't you, then who else could it be? Is there anyone else here with the nerve to pull such a stunt?" she asked.

Shari shot Carolyn a frosty glance. "I don't know who's behind it. But it seems like Mr. Robles doesn't really care for you. Maybe you were hoping this would be your chance to get him to sleep with you?" she replied.

Carolyn's eyes narrowed into a glare. "You're crazy. I'm not like you. Even if I like Sanford, I would never use these dirty tricks to manipulate him," she said.

Shari remained unfazed, her voice calm. "I could say the same thing to you.

Just because I'm not from a wealthy family doesn't mean I Lack self-respect," she said.

"You—"

"Enough! Stop fighting. Let's wait for Dr. Hudson to arrive and see what's really going on with Sanford," Janiya interrupted, her voice laced with frustration.

Shari and Carolyn exchanged a venomous glance, each silently wishing they could tear the other apart.

Meanwhile, inside the bathroom, Sanford sat quietly in his wheelchair by the door, listening intently to the commotion outside.

As the argument between the two women raged on, a smirk tugged at the corner of his lips.

It was oddly satisfying to overhear their bickering!

Soon, Ricardo arrived with his medical kit.

"Mrs, Robles," he greeted.

"Dr.-Hudson, please, go check on Sanford immediately," Janiya urged.

"Of course," Ricardo replied. He gave a quick nod and walked toward the bathroom, his steps steady but filled with purpose.

Jason raised his hand and knocked gently on the bathroom door. "Sir, Dr. Hudson is here," he called, his voice low and polite.

“Let him in alone," came Sanford's voice, clear and firm from the other side.

"Understood," Jason replied, stepping aside and opening the door to let Ricardo through, his medical kit held tightly in his grasp.

Outside, the others waited in silence, the tension thick in the air.
