Meanwhile-at an upscale restaurant, Keanu sat at a round table, his expression composed as he engaged in small talk with the guests.

Tonight's event was a business gathering—an important social interaction between his company and Skrix's renowned fashion giant, Nova Group. Among the guests were Nova Group's sales director and several sales staff.

Rosie, a mere intern, was one of them. Keanu, of course, noticed her.

Although their past interactions hadn't been pleasant, he didn't react. No need to stir up unnecessary drama.

When their eyes briefly met, he simply maintained a polite demeanor and said nothing.

Just as the conversation was flowing smoothly, the sales director suddenly turned to him with a broad smile. "Mr. Wright, my wife is a huge fan of your girlfriend. She's been listening to Corrine's music since her debut. When she heard I'd be dining with you tonight, she insisted I bring a gift for you to pass along to her."

With that, he handed over a beautifully wrapped gift box. Keanu sighed inwardly. He couldn't seem to escape this, no matter where he went.

Everyone just assumed he was Corrine's boyfriend, constantly giving him gifts, asking for Corrine's autographs, or making requests. It had become routine.

Keanu forced a polite smile. "There's no need for gifts. Next time, I'll ask Corrine to send your wife a signed photo."

Against his wish, he still had to act as an affectionate boyfriend in public.

The sales director chuckled, but he didn't back down. "Oh, please, just take it. Otherwise, my wife will have my head when I get home," he insisted.

Keanu exhaled. "Alright," he said, reluctantly accepting the gift. "But please, don't bring gifts next time. I don't want to upset Corrine."

The director laughed. "Understood!"

"Mr. Wright, my girlfriend is also a fan of Corrine," another sales staff member suddenly chimed in, also holding out a gift.

Keanu barely stopped himself from groaning aloud. One after another. Still, maintaining his public persona, he reluctantly took it. "Really, you don't need to keep doing this," he said with a half-smile. "I'll just make sure to have Corrine sign a few extra photos next time."

"Thank you so much!" the sales staff said gratefully.

The sales director stood up, raising his glass. "Mr. Wright, let us share a drink."

The others at the table followed suit, lifting their glasses as well.

Keanu gave them a calm smile, then stood up, raising his glass as he clinked it with theirs before downing his drink in one go.

Just as he sat back down, a figure approached. A bottle of wine in one hand, a glass in the other, Rosie poured him another drink.

"Mr. Wright," she said, voice gentle yet firm, "I'd like to share a drink with you personally."

Keanu's eyes flickered over her—his expression calm and unreadable.

Though he didn't outright refuse, he also didn't reach for his glass. He remembered that Rosie had once embarrassed him and Tilda in public.

Rosie continued, her voice carrying a hint of remorse. "Mr. Wright, I've reflected on my actions. That day at the restaurant, I was too emotional and said things I shouldn't have. I damaged your reputation, and for that.. I'd like to make amends."
