"Are you at the office, Casper?"
"I am."
"I've just finalized everything with Langston; he's agreed to systematically teach me vocal techniques. I'm thrilled! Can I come over for Lunch?"
Rita's voice bubbled with enthusiasm. Casper couldn't help but smile, genuinely pleased for her. "Of course."
He had successfully arranged for Rita to have a mentor, overcoming significant hurdles.
After ending the call, Casper turned and noticed Myra at the CEO's office door, carrying a tray with coffee.
His smile dimmed as he remembered the entertainment news from that morning.
It claimed that Myra, Tilda, and Keanu were friends.
How could their personal lives be so intertwined and complicated?
Casper shook his head, his dislike towards Tilda intensifying.
Inside the CEO's office, Lyndon sat on the couch with his arm around Tilda.
"You wouldn't just show up without a reason. What brings you here today?" he inquired.
Tilda was about to respond when Myra knocked and came in with the coffee. She acknowledged her with a nod. "I'm here to support Myra."
Lyndon's eyebrow arched, intrigued.
Myra handed the coffee to Tilda, who thanked her before saying, "Haven't you seen the entertainment news today?"
Lyndon leaned back. "I haven't had the time."
His morning had been packed with meetings and reviewing documents.
He hadn't even had a moment to grab a drink of water, much less catch up on the news.
Tilda sipped her coffee and then gestured to Myra. "Myra, show him the news."
"Alright."
Myra retrieved her phone, pulled up the article, and handed it to Lyndon.
As he read, his expression became increasingly concerned.
"What is this about?"
Tilda set down her coffee cup and leaned forward. "Myra and Keanu were wrongly accused. Any idea who might be behind it?"
