He pondered whether he should quietly talk to the kindergarten teacher and arrange for Sheldon to spend afternoons in the office tinkering with tech instead of digging in the dirt with the other kids.

Of course, he'd have to keep it under wraps—Tilda would be furious if she found out.

"Cheer up. This Saturday, we'll take you somewhere fun," Lyndon offered.

Though Sheldon felt low, the idea sparked a flicker of hope. "Where are we going?"

"A nearby resort that the whole family can enjoy."

"Okay."

Sheldon didn't press for details. With his laptop off-limits, a day out with his parents sounded like a decent escape.

After breakfast, Tilda prepared to drive Sheldon to school.

Lyndon quirked a brow. "You sure you don't want me to drop him of f?"

She gave him a sharp look. "I've got it."

She wasn't about to let anyone else take charge of their son's routine again!

Lyndon laughed softly. "Drive carefully."

"Bye, Elma. Bye, Dad," Sheldon called out as he said his goodbyes.

Before heading out, he shot Lyndon a pouty glance tinged with mild scorn— clearly miffed that Lyndon hadn't taken his side.

Lyndon caught the expression, his eyes glinting with quiet amusement.

Once at work, he dialed the kindergarten principal.

He secured a special deal for Sheldon: an hour of computer time after Lunch.

Having previously donated generously to the school through Fernandez Group when Sheldon enrolled, the principal wasn't about to say no.

After the call, he promptly notified Sheldon's teacher of the arrangement.

At school, when Sheldon heard about his new privilege post- lunch, he was floored.

His small face lit up with glee.

Realizing Lyndon had pulled strings, he asked the teacher for a phone and rang him.

At that moment, Lyndon was seated in a conference room.

When he noticed the incoming call from Sheldon's teacher, he gestured for the presenting department manager to hold off and picked up the phone.
