Tilda smiled, then passed the menu to Lyndon. "Honey, no one knows my tastes better than you. Why don't you choose for us?"

Lyndon glanced at her, catching the glint of mischief in her eyes.

So she was playing along — calling him "honey" to make a point in front of Reggie?

Lyndon didn't mind at all. In fact, he was pleased. It seemed she'd taken his words seriously, using this approach to demonstrate to Reggie that their marriage was going well.

A faint smile tugged at Lyndon's lips. His wife handled the situation with such elegant finesse.

"Come here so we can order the dishes together," Lyndon said, patting the seat beside him.

"Sure," she replied, sliding closer to look at the menu together.

Reggie took a slow sip of water, the smile slipping slightly from his face.

He had expected some coldness, maybe even visible tension between them.

But instead, what he saw was... affection and warmth. If they were faking it, they were damn good at it.

"We've added a few more dishes," Tilda said brightly. "Looks like you'll be footing quite the bill today, Mr. Potter."

Reggie snapped out of his thoughts. "It's no trouble at all. I'm confident I'll earn it back with your work."

"With an offer that generous, I'll make sure you won't be disappointed," Tilda said.

"I believe in you," Reggie replied smoothly. "Your talent speaks for itself. I'm genuinely impressed."

His eyes lingered on her just a second too long. Tilda offered a polite smile. "You're too kind."

Beside her, Lyndon sat quietly, toying with her fingers, never letting go of her hand.

Then Reggie leaned back, gaze shifting. "Corrine told me you two have been married for only a few months."

"That's right," Tilda replied without hesitation.

"She mentioned a few things," Reggie added, watching them closely.

Tilda's eyes flickered. He must know about the recent tension between her and Lyndon.

Her fingers twitched, instinctively trying to pull away from Lyndon's grip — but Lyndon held firm, intertwining their hands tighter.

His gaze turned toward Reggie. "Oh?" Lyndon said coolly.

"What exactly did Corrine say?"

"She mentioned the cold spell between you two and said that you still have feelings for someone else." Reggie paused deliberately before asking, "So, Mr. Fernandez, who do you love the most?"
