Antonia's face was practically black as ink in the cafe.

It was supposed to be half an hour, but it was almost an hour now, and Daniela still hadn't arrived.

She really wasn't taking her mother-in-law seriously!

Just when Antonia was about to give up, she finally saw Daniela slowly walking in.

"You still know how to come!"

Antonia was so angry that she couldn't even maintain her usual elegance. She slapped the table hard.

The good thing was, she had booked the entire place, there were no other customers.

But the little brother at the counter was startled and glanced over, quickly withdrawing his gaze.

Daniela sat down calmly in front of her, put the things in her hand on the ground, and said softly: "Traffic jam, I'm sorry."

Her face was still swollen, obviously injured badly yesterday.

Antonia snorted, her eyes falling on the bag at her feet.

It was packed full.

It must have been bought just now.

She wasn't stuck in traffic, she was clearly out buying things!

"You think I'm blind! You have all your stuff here, and you still want to lie and say it was a traffic jam!" Antonia was furious, her voice getting louder.

Daniela chuckled, "If I put the stuff away first, wouldn't that be even more of a waste of time? I was afraid you were anxious, so I had to carry the things with me."

Was she angry about this?

In the past, Antonia would tease her for two hours, three hours, or even leave her hanging, why didn't Antonia think she would be angry?

Sometimes she couldn't take it anymore and complained, what did Antonia say?

"What's wrong with waiting a bit? You're sitting anyway."

"Alright, you dare to give me a bad look over such a small matter. Our family really can't afford a daughter-in-law like you."

Daniela snapped out of her memories, looking at Antonia, whose chest was heaving with anger, she said softly, "What do you want to say, Mom?"

Antonia hadn't forgotten what she was here for, she suppressed her anger and threw a document in front of Daniela: "Sign it."

Daniela looked down and saw it was the divorce agreement.

She didn't read it carefully, she just said softly, "I already signed the agreement with Sebastian."

Antonia was taken aback, then she realized, and quickly asked, "When did you two sign? How are the assets divided?"

"I signed it a long time ago. Assets..." Daniela paused, then said softly, "The assets will be divided as they should be."

Daniela knew with her toes that Antonia would definitely not be happy if she got even a single penny from the Romero Family.

She simply didn't mention it, if Antonia insisted on asking, she could go find Sebastian.

But Antonia misunderstood her meaning, her face darkened, "You really want to split the assets with Sebastian!"

"Daniela, why are you entitled to that!"

"The assets were passed down by our Romero Family generation after generation, it was Sebastian who earned it with his own hard work, what does it have to do with you? You dare to ask for a share?"

"Don't even dream about it!"

Daniela quietly watched Antonia getting angrier as she spoke, her face remained unfazed.

She had long since recognized Antonia, so she didn't expect her to say anything nice.

After all, her daughter-in-law was never recognized by Antonia.

She wasn't the naive Daniela from before who thought that being sincere would win Antonia's approval.

Heh.

A daughter-in-law was a daughter-in-law, how could she become a daughter?

Antonia saw the mocking smile on Daniela's lips, she felt that Daniela was mocking her, and her disgust grew even stronger.

"You've been married to the Romero Family for three years, you haven't even had a child, let alone that you cruelly killed the bloodline of our Romero Family."

"We, the Romero Family, can't afford a daughter-in-law like you."

"But don't even think about getting anything from our Romero Family!"

"Sign this agreement, and get out clean!"
