"Finally, we're getting to the point."

Fernanda laughed. "So, how much do you want?"

Twenty million and a villa wouldn't be enough; the Flores Family had an insatiable appetite.

Seeing Fernanda's expression, which seemed to indicate she already knew their intentions, Diego's face turned a bit ugly.

"We're all family, Grandma. Why do you have to be so blunt?"

"I'm not here to ask the Romero Family for money today. I just have something I'd like to ask you, Grandma."

Martina slapped him in annoyance.

They had agreed to have the Romero Family pay compensation, how come they're suddenly not asking for money?

Without money, wouldn't they be losing out?

Diego gently pulled his hand back, ignoring Martina.

Fernanda chuckled, pretending not to see the little interaction between them, and simply said, "Go ahead."

Diego said in a deep voice, "You know that Flores Group is about to go public, and every investment is crucial."

"Yesterday, Sofia miscarried, and Shengjing withdrew its funding for Flores Group. Grandma, don't you think that's a bit chilling?"

Fernanda frowned.

She had no idea what Shengjing was.

Diego explained, "It was an investment Sofia secured after she got pregnant, Mrs. Romero facilitated it."

Fernanda immediately understood.

So, it was Antonia's doing.

It was just so underhanded.

Sofia miscarried, and then the funding was cut off, crossing the river and dismantling the bridge, it couldn't be more obvious.

"So, you want me to facilitate and let Shengjing continue investing?"

Diego shook his head. "Since Shengjing has withdrawn, why bother continuing? I hope you can directly invest a sum to save Flores Group, Grandma."

This is trying to directly tie himself to the Romero Group!

Fernanda looked at him deeply, "Investments from Romero Group are all controlled by the board of directors, I don't have a say in that."

Diego's brows furrowed, he remained silent for a long time.

Fernanda continued, "But, I do have a sum of funds that I can use."

Diego was delighted.

He originally thought he would have to argue for a while, but Fernanda was so straightforward.

"However, I have a condition," Fernanda said slowly.

Diego: "You tell me."

Fernanda looked at Sofia, "This investment isn't free, I want thirty percent of your Flores Group shares."

Diego frowned, "No. Thirty percent is too much."

Thirty percent of the shares would threaten him too much, absolutely impossible.

"Twenty-five," Fernanda said lightly.

Diego gritted his teeth, "Twenty. No more."

"And it can only be dividends, no control rights."

Twenty percent of the shares, in exchange for five billion in investment, isn't too bad. It could also tie him to Grandma's boat.

Thinking about it this way, Diego no longer refused, he readily agreed.

Fernanda laughed, "Don't be so heartbroken, this twenty percent of the shares is for Daniela, ultimately, isn't it still in the hands of your Flores Family members?"

Daniela couldn't care less about control rights.

Sofia was taken aback.

So, all this fuss was for Daniela's benefit?

She pulled Martina's sleeve.

Martina immediately realized what was happening, and loudly objected, "No! I disagree!"

"Daniela caused Sofia to miscarry, how can these shares go to her? If it's going to be given away, it should go to Sofia!"

Sofia hung her head and didn't speak.

Fernanda sneered, "This sum of money saved the entire Flores Family."

"In the future, won't the shares of the Flores Family still belong to you and Andres?"

Sofia and Martina still dare to object? People are so greedy!

If Diego wasn't such a useless father, she wouldn't have to ask for this share for Daniela.

Fernanda said solemnly, "Either you do as I say, or find another way to invest in the Flores Family."

"Don't try to threaten me with Sofia and Sebastian's relationship, if this is exposed, the Flores Family will fall before the Romero Family!"
