“Speaking of which, we're practically cousins. Just beg for mercy and kneel down to apologize to me, and I'll be generous enough to let you off the hook!”
Sandy had a wicked grin on his face, looking at Sebastian as if he were a dog at his mercy, bloodthirsty and arrogant.
Sebastian glanced at him, too lazy to bother.
What Sandy hated the most was Sebastian's condescending attitude, as if everyone else was trash in his eyes.
He spat fiercely, the baseball bat in his hand slamming heavily on the ground: “Beat him to a pulp!”
Instantly, a group of men swarmed around him like demons.
Sofia hid behind Sebastian, clutching his arm tightly, refusing to let go: “Sebastian, what do we do? I'm scared.”
Sebastian pursed his lips, looking up at Sandy: “This is between us. Let her go.”
Sandy sneered, his gaze falling on Sofia. He squinted at her for a few moments, then as if remembering something, he laughed out loud: “Isn't this Miss Flores from Mr. Romero's side? Miss Flores, long time no see. Do you still remember me?”
“I…Sandy? I used to buy you milk tea, do you remember?”
His slightly manic appearance made Sofia even more frightened, her hand trembling as she held onto Sebastian, her whole body hidden behind him.
Sandy had always been obsequious in front of her, where was this ruthless attitude coming from?
Sebastian repeated himself: “Let her go.”
“Ha. You’re still as fond of this woman as ever. I heard you even divorced your current wife for her, causing a stir in Romero Group's stock.”
“With your character, that old hag from Romero Family still supports you? Bah! I bet Romero Family's business will be ruined by you sooner or later!”
He spoke while dragging the baseball bat towards them.
Sebastian knew there was no escaping this.
He loosened his tie, took off his windbreaker, and handed it to Sofia: “Stay away.”
Then, his long fingers calmly rolled up his sleeves.
Sandy sneered, roaring: “Brothers, go!”
In a flash, Sebastian was engulfed by the crowd.
Sofia was pushed aside, watching the melee, her hands clutching the jacket in her grasp.
How could this be happening?
Is Sebastian in danger?
Two fists can't fight four hands.
Even though Sebastian had been specially trained, he was no match for dozens of men.
Somehow, he grabbed the baseball bat from Sandy's hand, kicked Sandy flying with a single foot, using his long legs to his advantage, quickly retreated to Sofia's side, pulling her away while fighting.
The street was eerily quiet, only the muffled sound of the bat hitting flesh echoing through the street.
Sandy went wild, wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth, replacing the bat with a machete, charging towards Sebastian.
Sebastian had to face his enemies while protecting Sofia, his body already riddled with blows.
Just as Sandy's blade was about to fall, Sebastian couldn't dodge in time and was about to bite the bullet when Sofia suddenly shoved him away.
The blade landed heavily on Sofia's back, carving a bloody arc.
Blood was pouring out.
But Sofia didn't cry out in pain, instead, she smiled at Sebastian: “Great. Sebastian, you're not hurt. I finally protected you once.”
She smiled and fell to the ground.
Sebastian rushed to her side.
As soon as he held her, he felt the warmth seeping from her back. Sebastian roared: “Sandy, do you really want to take a life?!”
