Martina's words were barely out of her mouth when Lucas kicked her hard to the ground.

"Watch your mouth."

This was the first time Lucas had ever been violent.

Martina was caught off guard and fell to the ground.

"You little bastard, what are you doing!"

"I'm talking to her. Why are you getting so worked up? You wouldn't be so agitated if I hadn't hit the nail on the head, would you? You are the adulterer."

"See, I knew it! I always see you helping Daniela with everything. It seems like you two are in a relationship."

"Daniela, that's not fair. The old lady of the Romero family was so good to you, but you cheated on her."

She decided to stay seated on the ground and shouted at the top of her lungs, "Look! This adulterer is beating people up!"

"You got your wife pregnant, tsk tsk tsk, you're actually a doctor."

Lucas' face turned black.

Daniela couldn't take it anymore, she went up to Martina and kicked her hard again.

Martina was sitting down and couldn't dodge, she took another kick.

Before she could continue yelling, Daniela slapped her across the face.

Emilia wasn't idle either, she pulled Martina's hair and practically pushed Martina's face right in front of Daniela, so she could hit her to her heart's content.

Martina wailed, trying to fight back, but she was no match for the two.

Lucas called for two nurses to pull them apart.

These two nurses were also biased, they held Martina's hands, supposedly to separate the fight, but actually they were holding Martina down, so Daniela could keep hitting her.

After taking over ten slaps, Martina couldn't take it anymore, she cried out, "Stop hitting me! Stop hitting me!"

"Diego! Diego! Diego! Are you just going to stand there and watch your daughter beat me?"

Diego finally stepped forward and grabbed Daniela's hand, "That's enough."

Daniela looked up abruptly, her other hand swung towards Diego's face.

"Slap!"

A clear handprint appeared on Diego's face.

Daniela said coldly, "What are you playing the good guy for?"

"If you hadn't allowed it, she wouldn't have dared to make a scene outside my mom's ward."

If Diego hadn't given his consent, Renata wouldn't have been so agitated by Martina and become mentally ill, living in a daze all these years.

If Diego hadn't been so hypocritical, how could Renata have fallen into this abyss?

Now, he dares to come out and play the good guy?

Daniela glared at Diego, she wished she could bite him to death.

Diego's face turned visibly darker.

Since he became the only college graduate in the village and left that mountain valley, no one had ever dared to hit him.

Moreover, the one hitting him was his own daughter.

Without thinking, Diego slapped Daniela across the face.

His hand was held by Lucas, "Mr. Flores, this is a hospital. Please don't cause any trouble."

He pulled Daniela behind him.

Martina immediately cried, "Who is causing trouble? You are the ones ganging up on me and beating me!"

The nurses quickly denied, "This is a hospital, we can't make noise. We nurses are only pulling you apart."

Other nurses rushed over to separate the group.

The head nurse said sternly, "This is a hospital, it's a public place. Whoever is causing trouble is disrupting public order and will be detained!"

"Also, it's past the hospital's visiting hours. If you are not family or patients, please leave immediately."

After speaking, the head nurse left.

Lucas released Diego's hand.

Diego had already calmed down at this point, "I came here today purely to check on your mother's condition, there is no other meaning behind it."

Daniela sneered, "Well then, sorry to disappoint you, my mom isn't dead. You can all leave."
