Lucas was naturally annoyed by Sebastian's sudden appearance, interrupting their conversation.

He had finally mustered the courage to speak to Daniela, carefully planning out his words to persuade her.

Yet, Sebastian appeared at this very moment.

A large part of Daniela's reluctance to marry was because of Sebastian.

Now that Sebastian was here, it was even less likely that Daniela would agree.

Thinking this, the icy stare Lucas and Sebastian exchanged grew colder.

"Mr. Romero seems to be quite free. Leaving work so early, is Romero Group going bankrupt?"

Sebastian chuckled coldly, "Not at all. We still have enough money invested in the Gomez Family."

"That's good. Mr. Romero, rest assured, I am capable of taking care of Mr. Romero's health."

Daniela: "..."

When Emilia and Bernard arrived, they saw Lucas and Sebastian sitting on either side of Daniela, occasionally exchanging barbs.

Strangely, the two men didn't even look at each other, as if they were speaking to the air.

Daniela, caught in the middle, rolled her eyes in exasperation.

The atmosphere was... unexpectedly harmonious.

As for why Bernard was there, Emilia explained grumblingly, "Eric, that bastard, was blocking me downstairs. He thought a bouquet of flowers could knock me out? Such a shameless jerk! I kicked him straight in the face. Bernard happened to drive by, so I jumped in his car and took off."

"Bernard heard we were having dinner and decided to tag along, shamelessly."

Daniela raised an eyebrow, "He's that thick-skinned?"

"Don't I know it!" Emilia rolled her eyes. "Ugh, I'm starving. What did you guys order? Why isn't the food here yet?"

Daniela: "..."

Sebastian: "..."

Lucas: "..."

Oh no, they forgot.

Emilia and Bernard were speechless.

"Wait, what time did you guys get here? How come you didn't order anything this whole time?"

"What are you guys doing? Playing cards?"

They didn't see any cards though.

While they were ordering food, Sebastian suddenly turned to Bernard, "Your mother asked you to go on blind dates, how many girls have you met?"

Thinking about the stack of thick files his mother held, Bernard shivered uncontrollably. "Don't mention it, we're still good brothers."

Sebastian looked at him, feigning interest.

Bernard gestured with his hand, "Just the files alone, there are so many. If I actually went to meet them all, it would take until the new year."

Sebastian raised an eyebrow, "That's quite a few. But it's a good thing, you can share them with Mr. Gomez."

He looked at Lucas, "Mr. Gomez is not young anymore, he should start a family. Don't worry, Mrs. Bernard has excellent taste."

Daniela glanced at Sebastian, but said nothing.

Lucas slowly put down his chopsticks, wiped his mouth, and said, "It seems like Romero Group is really free. Mr. Romero even has time to play matchmaker."

"Mrs. Rodriguez wants to split, I think it's better to give them to Mr. Romero first. After all, you're getting remarried, it's harder to find a wife."

Emilia almost couldn't hold back her laughter, but managed to stifle it.

Bernard couldn't help but grimace in pain.

These two had been at each other's throats before they even arrived?

Ouch.

He rolled his eyes, looking at Daniela, "Daniela, tell me, who should I give them to first?"

He looked like he was enjoying the drama.

Sebastian and Lucas glanced at him, their eyes fixed on Daniela.

Their faces were calm, but their eyes flickered with an unusual light, making Emilia cover her forehead.

What in the world was going on?

Daniela took a sip of water, as if she hadn't noticed their expectant gazes, and said calmly, "Why don't you three go together? The girls at the city hall will have to meet you three times."

Emilia finally couldn't hold it in anymore, bursting out laughing. She gave Daniela a thumbs-up.

She could already imagine the three of them at a blind date event.

After the group finished their noisy dinner, it was already past nine o'clock.

Sebastian was about to offer to take Daniela home, but then he saw Daniela's face turn pale as she looked at a certain spot.
