The director of Sunshine Hospital, Philip, is in his office. Lucas, carrying a medical chart, seems to be asking the director for help. Sebastian turns black when he sees him. Lucas, however, greets them calmly, as if he had met them by chance. Daniela answers openly.

Taking advantage of the small talk, Lucas sits down and has no intention of leaving. Philip glances at him, but doesn't chase him away. He asks Sebastian and Daniela to sit down.

Sebastian says, "She's been sick for days. My grandmother is worried and asks you to take a look."

Philip's gaze finally falls on Daniela, and he sees that her face is indeed not very good.

Daniela takes the lead: "I just caught a cold a few days ago, and then I kept getting sick again and again. It's nothing serious."

"I see."

Philip looks at her with meaning, his peripheral vision sweeping over Lucas before quickly retracting.

Sebastian doesn't say anything.

Philip says, "Put out your hand, I'll feel your pulse."

Daniela's face changes abruptly, and she looks to Lucas for help.

Lucas smiles, "Uncle Harold's observation, auscultation, inquiry, and palpation are the most powerful. There are countless people who come from afar to seek his help. You should experience it today too."

Daniela hesitates for a moment.

Sebastian impatiently says, "Don't dawdle. I have a meeting later."

Daniela immediately says, "Then you go to your meeting. I'll go back after I'm done."

"Stop talking nonsense."

Sebastian clearly doesn't want to leave.

Daniela can only reluctantly extend her hand.

Philip's hand rests on it for a moment, then he asks her to switch to her left hand, and only after a long time does he withdraw.

"Your body is indeed weak. But there's nothing you can do about this recurring cold. Go home and get plenty of rest."

Sebastian frowns, "Just a cold?"

Seeing her condition, plus Emilia and Lucas' hesitation, he suspects that she might be seriously ill.

Philip smiles, "There's also some discomfort in your spleen and stomach. Have you been nauseous and vomiting a lot these days?"

Sebastian nods.

"That's cold invading the spleen and stomach. Simply put, it's a stomach cold."

"It's fine. Continue taking the previous medication and rest more. Colds take a long time to heal, it will get better in a few days."

Hearing this, Sebastian can only accept it even though he has questions.

Daniela is surprised that Philip would say this, but she assumes it's because Lucas has spoken to him beforehand. She is secretly grateful.

The two of them leave.

Sebastian is extremely frustrated.

According to Philip, Daniela can only recover slowly, and it's uncertain when she'll get better.

He's anxious and his expression is unhappy: "A simple cold can drag on for so long. No wonder my mother always says you're delicate."

Daniela doesn't bother to argue with him and turns to leave.

She still needs to find an opportunity to thank Director Jing.

Her hand is pulled again, Sebastian grits his teeth, "You're sick like this and you still want to go where? Come home with me."

Daniela is pulled painfully, she's about to speak when Sebastian's phone rings.

The two words "Sofia" are glaring.

"Mr. Romero, please take care of your little lover first."

Saying that, she breaks free from Sebastian's hand and walks towards the other end of the mental hospital.

Turning the corner, Daniela looks back. Sebastian is on the phone and has already left in a hurry.

In the director's office, Daniela sits while Lucas pours her a glass of water.

Philip sits in the office chair, his gaze shifting between the two.

After a long silence, his gaze finally settles on Lucas, and he speaks with difficulty, "The child is yours?"
