Daniela was a little dazed.

Did Sebastian buy the gift for the Jones Family?

No, what did Sebastian mean? She couldn't understand.

Myra was stunned for a moment before she laughed and said, "You're just too polite."

As a person who was always mindful of etiquette, Myra couldn't possibly get into an argument with a junior like Sebastian. She pulled Daniela's hand and invited him in, "It's cold outside, come in and sit down."

Sebastian rarely showed a smile, but this time, he took the initiative to step forward and help Myra into the house.

Osmond snorted and watched the three of them disappear into the house, his expression full of displeasure.

If it weren't for Fernanda's sake, he would have used his cane to beat Sebastian out of the house.

It was much warmer inside the house than it was outside.

As soon as they entered, Myra told Daniela to take off her coat so that she wouldn't catch a cold.

Daniela handed Osmond and Myra the scarves she bought, "I didn't know what you two would like, so I bought two scarves as it's getting cold."

Myra, of course, couldn't pick on these gifts, "You're so thoughtful, next time, don't buy these big and small bags."

The gifts they brought filled an entire table.

Daniela was speechless as she looked at all the gifts.

She only bought half of them, the rest were all bought by Sebastian.

Daniela raised her head and saw Sebastian looking at her.

Their eyes met in the air before quickly parting.

"I heard there were honored guests today, so I wanted to come back early, but I was still late."

A cheerful voice came from the door, with a hint of laughter.

Daniela looked up and saw a beautiful woman coming in from the door, followed by a man in his fifties.

They both had excellent looks.

Daniela looked at the man's appearance and her expression froze for a moment.

The beautiful woman walked up to Daniela and took her hand, "You are Daniela? What a beautiful person you are. No wonder the old lady kept talking about inviting you to her house."

Daniela wanted to stand up, but she was pressed down by the woman.

Myra introduced them, "This is Ivan's mother, and his father."

They were Queena and Nicholas.

Daniela quickly greeted them.

Sebastian, although not seeing them for the first time, also stood up to greet them.

Queena was very happy to see Sebastian, "I saw your mother the other day, and we made an appointment to play cards together. Your mother said you're a good card player, so you should come and play with us when you have time."

Sebastian said, "I will, if I have time."

However, Nicholas's attitude towards Sebastian was much colder.

After getting to know each other, Queena sat down beside Myra and said, "I heard from the butler that the old man and the old lady waited at the door for a while?"

"Knowing that you like Daniela, you can't ignore your own health."

"Your health has been bad since the beginning of winter. If you get sick again, Daniela won't feel good about it."

Daniela looked up at Queena, feeling that her words were aimed at her.

She was blaming her for making the two old people wait in the wind and snow.

Daniela didn't mind and laughed, "Aunt Wang is right. If you catch a cold, it'll be my fault. Don't do this next time, otherwise I wouldn't dare to disturb you again."

Hearing Daniela say that she would come again, Myra's brows and eyes all curved into smiles, "Come whenever you want, next time I will absolutely not go to the door to greet you. Just wait for you here in the flower hall, alright?"

Daniela smiled and agreed.

Seeing Myra protecting Daniela so much, Queena's eyes dimmed slightly, and she continued with a smile, "The old lady is so happy to see you come, she completely forgot that you are five months pregnant. You can't just run up the mountain because you're young."

She earnestly advised Daniela, "You are pregnant, you can't be so reckless just because you are young. Alas, if your mother were still alive, there would be an elder to take care of you, so you wouldn't be so clueless."

As soon as these words were spoken, the room fell silent.
