Daniela didn't plan on celebrating the Little New Year at the Romero Family, but thinking about Fernanda, she decided to visit them.
Firstly, to give them New Year gifts, and secondly, she had done a big fetal ultrasound and had a 3D photo of the fetus taken. She also wanted Fernanda to have a look.
Just as she arrived, Antonia was leaving with her luggage.
Antonia looked annoyed: "What are you doing here?"
Daniela replied calmly, "I'm here to see Grandma."
Antonia was furious.
The old lady's words were all just lip service, she simply didn't want her around.
Now, she was actually asking Daniela to come over.
Antonia wanted to glare a hole in Daniela, and she didn't even want to ask about the child.
Sebastian stepped forward, blocking Daniela: "If you don't leave now, you'll miss your flight."
The better, she didn't want to go back anyway.
But thinking about Fernanda's words, Antonia could only suppress her anger and leave quickly with her luggage.
Daniela then asked Sebastian, "Where is she going?"
"Back to the Araya Family," Sebastian said flatly.
Daniela hummed, not caring, and walked into the house.
Fernanda, upon seeing her, immediately broke into a smile on her usually serious face: "You still remember to come see me, you little rascal."
Daniela smiled apologetically, but before she could speak, Sebastian cut her off.
"She's busier than me now." Sebastian helped Daniela sit down. "I wanted to have a good meal with her yesterday, but she didn't even have time for that."
Daniela glared at him.
Fernanda, however, picked up a different meaning. Her gaze lingered on the two of them, noticing the lack of distance and the increased intimacy between them. Her heart swelled with joy.
"Are you guys the only ones allowed to be busy? We women have our own things to do, too," Fernanda ignored Sebastian's words and instead defended Daniela.
"But Daniela, you have to take care of yourself. You're getting bigger, you can't be tired."
Daniela nodded and took out a 3D photo, handing it to Fernanda, "Grandma, look."
Fernanda was initially confused. When she realized it was a 3D photo of the fetus, she exclaimed, "Nora, quickly, my glasses."
Nora responded and immediately brought her reading glasses.
Fernanda put on her glasses and carefully examined the 3D photo for a while before smiling and saying, "Eyes like yours, little face also like yours."
Her eyes were filled with tears, a choked feeling.
Nora was almost the same, but she still suppressed her voice and comforted her, "If you cry, Miss Flores and the young master won't dare to come again."
Fernanda spat at her, wiping her tears, and asked again, "Did the doctor say if it's a boy or a girl?"
Daniela shook her head, "They don't let us know now, I didn't ask."
Fernanda didn't dwell on it, "Either way, either way."
Nora laughed, "With this photo, you should be happy, old lady. You should eat more tonight."
"Yes, yes, yes." Fernanda chuckled.
Daniela looked at Nora, "Grandma's appetite is not good?"
Speaking of this, Nora's face became heavy, "It's not just bad, she's only eaten two sips of broth all day."
Sebastian and Daniela both frowned.
Sebastian said, "Call a doctor."
Fernanda quickly stopped him, "No need, I just saw a doctor the other day. It's nothing serious, just old age, plus the season isn't good, digestion is a bit off. It's fine."
As she spoke, she glared at Nora, blaming her for talking too much.
Nora pretended not to see.
Daniela also noticed that Fernanda's complexion wasn't as good as usual, and her heart sank a little.
However, she still had to go to the Jones Family today, so she could only put her worries aside and say, "Grandma, please take care of yourself. Otherwise, how will you have the strength to hold this little one when he/she is born?"
Fernanda laughed even more happily, "Good! Good! Good!"
