Sebastian's anger was barely contained, his hand raised to strike.

Cline, however, was no longer afraid.

After all, the mask was off.

She tilted her head and pointed at her face, "Hit me! Hit me! Go on, make sure you leave a mark, make me bleed. I'll post it online and let everyone see how the Romero Group CEO is so enraged that he beats up his own sister!"

Sebastian's hand froze in mid-air.

He looked at his sister, feeling a pang of strangeness.

When their father passed away, Cline was still a child, barely able to walk.

Antonia, their mother, was lost in her grief, constantly seeking solace in alcohol.

Little Cline trailed behind her brother.

Even with his heavy workload, Sebastian patiently cared for his sister.

After all, she was his family, the closest person to him besides their grandmother.

But as they grew up, the image of the tiny, sticky rice cake girl in his memory faded. She had become the hysterical, rage-filled woman in front of him.

He and Lucas were rivals, and she, inexplicably, favored Lucas, who often antagonized him.

Now, he realized that it would have been better if she liked Lucas.

At least things wouldn't be this messy.

Slowly, Sebastian lowered his hand.

He gave Cline one last glance and instructed Andy, who stood beside him, "Keep an eye on her, don't let her leave the room."

He was effectively putting her under house arrest.

Cline panicked, "No! You can't do this! It's illegal! I don't want to stay here!"

She had to find Patrick.

They had promised to be together.

Now they had a child, they could get married.

But Sebastian didn't even look at her. He turned and walked away.

Cline tried to rush out, but the guards at the door stopped her.

Andy said, "Miss, you should just relax and stay here."

With that, he signaled for the guards to close and lock the door.

Cline was clearly unhinged, and who knows what she might do.

After leaving Cline's room, Andy found Sebastian waiting in the living room.

"With such a big thing happening, I'm afraid we can't keep it from the old lady," Andy said, his brow furrowed. "The old lady hasn't been feeling well lately."

Sebastian nodded. "We'll keep it quiet for now. I'll talk to Grandma tomorrow."

Fernanda, their grandmother, preferred peace and quiet, always residing in the back courtyard, a distance away.

No matter how much Cline caused trouble, she wouldn't reach Fernanda.

Andy nodded. "Don't worry, sir. The old lady had a calming tea tonight and slept soundly."

Sebastian furrowed his brow. "Didn't the doctor say it was just seasonal change affecting her? Why is she taking calming tea?"

Andy sighed. "Old people are frail and prone to illnesses. You know what the old lady went through in her younger days. She never had any real rest and has many hidden ailments. Her condition worsens with every change in weather."

"These past couple of days, she's been having headaches and difficulty sleeping at night. The doctor prescribed calming tea, and according to淑芬, it helps her sleep a bit more soundly."

Sebastian's heart sank. "Tomorrow, I'll call Dr. Philip to have a look."

Andy agreed. After a moment of hesitation, he said, "Sir, maybe we should ask Madam to come back."

With Cline's pregnancy, it was inconvenient for Sebastian, her brother, to handle things.

It would be better to have Antonia back.

Whether the child stayed or not, it was still Antonia, the biological mother, who had the most say.

Besides, it wasn't right to keep Antonia away from home for so long.

Sebastian nodded.

Even if Andy didn't say it, he was going to call her anyway.

That night, Antonia received a call from Sebastian. His first words were, "Cline is pregnant."
