Cline saw them and Sandy and Sofia saw her as well.
"Cline?" They both exclaimed in unison, sharing the same bewilderment, "How did she get here?"
Sofia was still puzzled, but Sandy, heartbroken, had several thoughts in her mind. She immediately chased after Cline.
Cline's escape was swift and agile, but her current physical condition was terrible. She didn't have the resilience that Sofia had gained over these past days.
After running only ten meters, Sandy grabbed her, holding her close.
Cline was caught off guard, screaming in terror and struggling.
"Sandy, you bastard, let me go!"
She recognized her captor, and her anger grew.
Sandy hissed, "Shut up! If you don't want to die, be quiet!"
"You dare!"
"You think I don't dare?"
Sandy leaned close, his voice as cold as ice, "Your two brothers both wanted to kill me. Do you think I wouldn't kill you?"
Cline's heart skipped a beat, and she dared not move.
Sandy, holding Cline, stopped running, turned to face the pursuers, and shouted at the group chasing them, "Stop! Or I'll kill her!"
The people behind them gradually stopped.
From the crowd, the scarred leader stepped forward, gave a "hehe" chuckle, and coldly glanced at Cline, "She's pretty, huh. But don't think you can use her to get us to care about her life, okay?"
"Hahaha."
The scarred leader and his men laughed.
Sandy, however, remained calm and said, "Do you know who she is?"
"Who? Oh! Look at those legs, that face, she's a high-class one, huh? You want to give her to me?" The scarred leader appraised Cline from head to toe, his eyes glinting with lewdness.
Then, a stream of vulgar remarks followed, turning Cline's face red and white with anger. She was almost ready to scream.
She stared at the scarred leader, thinking, after this ordeal, she would make those men pay.
And Sandy too!
She would kill them!
Sensing her gaze, the scarred leader laughed even harder.
"She's got some fire in her! Good. I like spicy women."
Sandy gave a cold smile, "I suggest you watch your mouth. Don't you know George has a cousin?"
The scarred leader was taken aback, his face darkening.
He was quite familiar with George, knowing he had a cousin who was also a favorite.
Sandy grinned, "Seems like you know. Let us go, or I'll kill her."
As he spoke, he tightened his grip on Cline's neck.
Cline felt her throat constrict, and the air was suddenly cut off.
The suffocating sensation made her frantically pound on Sandy's hand.
But Sandy remained unmoved, not loosening his grip, and stared coldly at the scarred man.
The scarred man spat, "Sandy, if she's the boss's cousin, then she's your cousin too. Would you really? I think you're wasting your time. You surrender, and we'll give you a quick death. Otherwise…"
Sandy chuckled, "George never told you, I have a blood feud with Sebastian. Sebastian's sister..."
He glanced at Cline, "...not only can she get us through, even if she's useless, her life would make me feel better."
The coldness in his tone made Cline believe he was deadly serious.
Was she really going to die here today?
The scarred man narrowed his eyes at Sandy, unsure what to do.
