Sebastian's pupils constricted violently. He had harbored a suspicion ever since he saw the hacker records. Now, hearing Sandy say it so bluntly, he still found it hard to believe. The plane crash that took his father's life, it wasn't an accident.
Sandy chuckled, "Surprised? Honestly, I was almost scared out of my wits when I found out." As he spoke, a pensive look crossed his face, as if recalling something.
Sebastian's clasped hands tightened, his knuckles turning white, as he struggled to control his emotions. "Tell me everything you know."
Sandy glanced at him, a cold smile spreading across his lips, "I can tell you, but what will you give me in return?"
Sebastian's gaze turned icy, yet his voice remained calm, "You boarded this plane, you've lost the right to bargain."
"Of course, if you want to let George go, you can choose to say nothing."
Sandy's current predicament was a result of their joint actions, both he and George were responsible. The two of them harbored animosity towards each other, no other emotions existed between them. However, Sebastian didn't believe that Sandy hated George. After all, if it weren't for George's relentless pressure in recent days, how could Sandy have ended up in this state, neither human nor ghost?
Sebastian couldn't believe that Sandy had painstakingly boarded this plane just to reminisce with him. Therefore, Sandy would definitely speak. He was already planning to speak.
Sandy let out a crazed laugh. Ultimately, he had underestimated Sebastian. Not only him, but Harold and George had all underestimated Sebastian. He knew everything, probably had already prepared to ensnare them all. It was laughable that George truly thought he could compete with Sebastian in the Romero Group.
Seeing that he had been seen through, Sandy didn't bother to play coy with Sebastian and revealed everything he knew.
It was by chance that he had discovered the truth about the matter. Back then, his father wasn't incarcerated yet, and he was still the carefree Romero Family scion. But unexpectedly, Sebastian, who was severely injured in the car crash, actually woke up and began investigating the accident. When the investigation was about to reach them, Harold approached his father.
He happened to pass by the study and overheard the argument inside.
"Harold, you were the one who said to kill him. And now, you're going to shift all the blame onto me?"
"Now, you want me to take the fall? Why?"
"Do you think I owe you anything?"
That was his father's furious voice. Then, Harold's voice followed. It was a stark contrast to the gentle and humble Uncle Harold he had interacted with, his voice was filled with icy coldness and a chilling intent.
"As long as you take the blame, I guarantee I will help you send Sandy abroad."
"You don't want your son to spend the rest of his life in prison, do you?"
His father seemed to be even more enraged by these words, and Sandy heard a muffled thud from inside the study. His father's voice was filled with gnashing teeth, "This has nothing to do with Sandy!"
Harold's voice remained cold, "Sebastian's car had a problem, and Sandy was the only one who appeared near the scene during that time. The surveillance cameras at home captured everything."
Hearing this, Sandy's eyes widened in shock. He remembered that the only time he was near Sebastian's car was when Harold asked him to retrieve his lost car keys.
So, Harold had been plotting against their family from the very beginning, intending to frame them for Sebastian's car crash.
Sandy was furious and wanted to storm into the study, but he then heard his father's angry voice from within, "You're deliberately doing this!"
Harold chuckled, "Thomas, you're a smart man, you know what to choose."
The study fell silent for a while.
Sandy thought they had finished talking, but suddenly he heard his father's voice, "Aren't you afraid that I'll tell Sebastian the truth about what happened back then?"
