“Mr. Romero?”
The person on the other end of the phone shrank his neck at the loud noise coming from the other end.
After a long wait, seeing that the call was not hung up, he cautiously spoke.
George cursed again, picking up the phone with a suppressed anger and said, "I don't care what method you use, you must bring down the heat of this matter, otherwise, you can just go back to your hometown to farm!"
The person on the other end of the line felt a pang of fear, but he had to agree. In the end, he cautiously asked, "Then, do we still proceed with the original plan?"
It was clear that this was a warning from the Jones Family.
Judging from the Jones Family's protection of Daniela over the past period, if they continued, and truly hurt Daniela, the Jones Family would not let them off easily.
He was a bit afraid... afraid of not being able to bear the Jones Family's revenge.
George sneered, "Do it!"
Why not do it!
He had to say he was thoroughly impressed by Daniela.
He originally thought that Sebastian's disappearance and the old lady's passing would completely crush Daniela. Once Daniela fell, the Jones Family alone would have no way to manage Romero Group.
If the Jones Family dared to interfere, he would find a way to smear the Jones Group.
But who would have thought Daniela was so strong!
Except for the two days she was busy giving birth, she had not let go of the reins.
Daniela was in the open, Ivan in the dark.
This combination guarded the Romero Group like an impregnable fortress.
His previous plan couldn't even be implemented.
However, heaven was kind to him, and it gave Daniela a big weakness.
A mother!
If her child suffered an accident, George thought, no matter how strong Daniela was, she wouldn't be able to hold on, right?
...
Antonia received a call from the foreign caregiver, saying that Cline's condition was not good and that she hoped she would come back to take care of her.
"What did I hire you for!" Antonia was annoyed.
The caregiver was a bit helpless, "Mrs. Romero, we can't do anything about it either."
They were caregivers and only responsible for the patient's daily needs, how could they possibly know how to treat a sick patient?
Cline's injuries were quite serious, and problems would arise from time to time.
For some problems, the doctor needed to consult the family members before starting treatment.
But now, the family member was not around, and the back and forth naturally delayed the treatment.
The caregiver couldn't understand, what could be more important than her own daughter's life, that Antonia would stay in the country and not come back?
Antonia subconsciously bit her nails.
She hadn't had this habit before, but lately she had been doing it frequently, unable to control it.
"You tell the doctor to use the best treatment plan, and use the best medicine. We, the Romero Family, don't lack money! No matter how expensive, we can afford it!"
Having said that, Antonia hung up the phone.
The caregiver listened to the busy tone on the phone, watching Cline being sent to the emergency room again, and shook her head helplessly.
What a sin!
Meanwhile, Antonia clearly had no time to care about Cline's situation.
In her mind, she was constantly replaying what her friends had said to her.
"It's not that I want to bring up your sadness, but I just feel very worried for you when I see your situation." her friend said.
Antonia didn't answer.
Her friend continued, "You said you finally raised your two children, and it's time to enjoy life, who would have thought the old man would play such a big joke on you, letting a divorced former daughter-in-law sit on top of you and act like a tyrant."
"I just feel very suffocated watching it, you know!"
"What can I do?" Antonia was frustrated, "You don't know, she's the granddaughter of the Jones Family, and the Jones Family people protect her like their eyeballs!"
Her friend patted her somewhat disapprovingly, "What's the best way to control a woman?"
"Get your hands on her child!"
Antonia rolled her eyes.
Did she not want to, it was Daniela who disagreed!
"What's there to do? You quietly bring the child out. When you have the child in your hands, will she dare to disobey you?"
