Fel was about to tell her not to worry, but Scarlet added, “Thus, we might need to go back up the mountain. The latest news is that Jennifer’s boyfriend, Clark, also went up the mountain. He placed a tracker on Monkey, and only he knows Monkey’s whereabouts!”

Twenty minutes earlier, Scarlet had brought Jennifer and the others down the mountain to safety. After their rescue, the women were overcome with joy and tears. Their first priority was using Scarlet’s phone to contact their families.

Jennifer was no exception. She first called her grandmother, then her boyfriend, Clark. That’s when he discovered he’d been on the same mountain!

Stunned, Jennifer explained her situation, and Clark rushed over. Their reunion was heartwarming, even making Scarlet feel a pang of jealousy.

Before they could fully express their relief, Scarlet interrupted, demanding details. Clark hesitated at first, but after hearing Jennifer confirm Scarlet’s role in their rescue, he confessed everything.

During Jennifer’s disappearance, Clark had relentlessly searched for her, but his efforts proved futile. He then encountered Monkey, who fabricated an identity as a missing persons investigator. While ostensibly cooperating, Clark secretly planted a tracker in Monkey’s backpack.

Monkey, though capable and skilled, underestimated Clark, allowing the tracker to be successfully planted. This underestimation also led Monkey to ignore Felicia’s warning and venture alone to the bomb shelter, where he vanished.

Upon hearing this, Scarlet immediately informed Felicia. Felicia was surprised but ultimately relieved. All the missing women, including Jennifer’s group, were found, while Monkey had gone silent. Felicia, who had planned to search the mountain again, now had a much easier path thanks to Clark’s tracker. Her only hope was that he would be found alive.

“Bring him here!” Felicia said before disconnecting.

Scarlet arrived shortly, accompanied by Clark and Jennifer. Before Jennifer could explain, Clark leapt up, exclaiming, “It’s you! You evil woman!”

He pointed at Felicia, his face flushed, seemingly struggling to contain his rage. He remembered the hospital parking lot incident, where Felicia had nearly strangled Jennifer. Seeing her again triggered an immediate, protective reaction.

Jennifer quickly interjected, “It’s a misunderstanding! Clark, don’t! Felicia saved me. I escaped because she brought rescuers.”

Clark, stunned, stammered an apology. Felicia interrupted, unconcerned, and asked, “Where’s the tracker? Where is it leading?”
