551 IS IT NOT DIRTY?

Cane woke up because Iris was not by his side. He must be very tired, until he felt asleep too deep and not realized when his mate slipped from his arms and got out of the carriage.

But then, his heart gave a start when he heard the commotion out there, thinking something had happened and the thought Iris was out of his sight made him jump to his feet and rushed out of the carriage, only to find this white furball was the caused of the commotion.

"What that creature is doing here?!" Canegrowled darkly. He looked around, looking for a certain someone. If this lazy bear was here, the owner must be nearby. 2

Iris and Ethan almost jumped out of their skin to hear how vicious and dangerous Cane's voice was, even Lil Thing covered its eyes with its paws, as if by doing that, it could hide itself from the angry predator before it.

"Cane." Iris immediately stood up andapproached him. The lizard on her shoulder jumped toward Ethan, seeking for shelter. "You are awake," Iris said cheerfully, as she hugged him and gave a kiss on his cheek to soothe his annoyance.

However, Cane didn't seem to notice that, as he kept looking around and Iris knew who he wastrying to find. 1

"It's only the white bear," Iris said in calm voice,while Cane put his arms around her body protectively. He had been having a headache and was so spent with everything that was going on, thus the last thing he wanted was to have to deal with a certain people he didn't like. 2

"Ethan, ask Jace about his whereabouts and keephis eyes on him."

"Got it. I have sent a hawk to ask about it," Ethanreplied immediately, the ga mma knew what he needed to do and now everyone could see the extent of their alpha's possessiveness over his mate. "We just need to wait for his reply."

Hearing that, Cane didn't say another word, but instead turned around and left to their carriage with Iris close to him.

"But, what about with this bear? What we aregoing to do with it?" Ethan asked. They wouldn't stay for long, because once they had rested to eat, they would continue their journey again and this bear didn't look like it was going to be able to keep up with them.

Cane glanced over his shoulders, his eyes were cold when he saw the bear was still covering its eyes with its paws.

"The bear is big enough for dinner." 2

Iris sucked in cold breath when she heard that."Cane!" she protested, but the alpha didn't seemto care, as he helped Iris to get into the carriage and closed the door.

On the other hand, the corner of Ethan's lips twitched. "He is joking, right?" 1

"I don't want to eat bear meat," Aliana said,standing beside the ga mma and glanced at the adorable white bear.

Not long after, there was a reply from Jace, telling them the merchant was still in the pack and he didn't seem to care his pets roamed around and followed the entourage, which meant, he wouldn't send someone to pick up this white fur and Ethan opted to send one of the warriors to bring the bear back to the pack.

However, the bear didn't want to go. It literally sprawled its limbs on the ground and due to its huge body and fatness, no one was able to move it. This bear was too heavy! After all, it was thrice their size and seemingly weighed ten of them.

In the end, Ethan chose one warrior to stay with the bear and try to get in touch with Jace to ask Lou to pick up his pet.

But, when the entourage was moving, the bear got up and walked in the end of the entourage as well, following them again, even though it was hardly keeping up with their pace, but they would see its white fur in the distance. 2

Celia was happy to see the white bear, she wascurrently in the same carriage with Haco and Joel, as she chirped happily to make the bear move a little bit faster, so it could catch up with them.

"Why I should be your sitter?" Dean grumbled,walking beside the bear.

In the evening, when they finally stopped, the bear collapsed. Its tongue lulled to the side, as its laid down on its back.

"Is it dead?" Aliana asked Dean. She grimaced.She made a bet with Eth an that the bear would give up and they would eventually lose it, but it actually made it.

Needless to say, she lost the bet.

"Nah, I think it only passed out," Dean replied. "Itseems we need to hunt more to feed this creature."

Indeed. They really needed to hunt more because aside from snacking on magic stone, the bear ate a lot.

"Where are you going?" Cane asked, he put downthe report he was reading when Iris wriggled out of his arms.

"I want to see the bear," Iris replied lightly, as sheput on her cloak and was about to go out of the carriage, but Cane stopped her.

"You don't need to." The alpha frowned, unhappy."Someone has taken care of that creature." 1Iris grinned and teased him. "I thought you are going to make it for dinner."

Cane growled because Iris was daring enough to throw his words back to his face. In one swift move, he pinned her down on the bed.

This carriage was spacious enough for both of them to sleep comfortably and Haco had put magic around it, so no one from outside could hear the noise from inside. This was the same carriage that Cane took from the Riverside pack.

"You become so bold nowadays, Iris," Cane saidwith his hoarse voice, as he held both of her arms beside her body and nibbled on her earlobe. 1

"Cane!" Iris squirmed, trying to get away from hisassault, but she had nowhere to go when he trapped her with his body.

"I want to see how bold you can be," Canewhispered to her ear and this made Iris blushed when he licked her neck, leaving wet kisses along her collarbones and now Iris was lightheaded, as she could feel the atmosphere changed.

Cane let go of her hands and lifted her leg, as he caressed her inner thigh, which sent shiver down her spine. Iris breathed heavily when Cane lowered the collar of her dress and kissed her chest.

"Cane... I am still in my monthly circle..." Irisreminded him hoarsely, her voice was shakingashamed, but she couldn't deny it, every time Cane touched her in certain way, she felt like her skin was on fire.

Cane lifted his head and stared at her face that flushed red, her lips slightly parted and Cane had this dark urge to shove his tongue inside. 1

"Do you mind it?" Cane asked and Iris's blue eyeswidened in surprised with the suggestion behind his question.

"I- is it not dirty?" Iris stuttered.
