Iris was woken up when she heard loud growls and snarls, followed by the door was being slammed opened and five to seven warriors poured inside the room. 1

She immediately covered herself with blanket and sat down, but her attention was on the door, those warriors were dumbstruck in their track upon seeing what was going on inside.

Once Iris followed their line of sight, Iris screeched, she quickly covered her mouth with her hands when she watched Cane ripped a beast's body, he twisted it limbs and removed it from its body. He threw its hindleg to the floor, while his expression filled with malice. 2

He did all of that in his human form, one could only imagine how strong he was to be able to fight a beast without shifting. 1

Iris watched Cane's side profile and when he tilted his head, finally noticed Iris was awake now, she could see how his eyes hadturned so red.

Oh, hell no. It was Lu! The lycan took over Cane's body again.

Cane must be too tired to be able to suppress the lycan from coming to the surface, especially when he finally got his peaceful sleep. 1

"Don't look, my moon." His voice wasextremely gentle, the contrast of his bloody hands and the gruesome scene he had created. "Close your eyes, my sweet moon."

Yes, it definitely him.

The sight was disturbing, but Iris could handle it, she had seen something as cruel as this before, yet still, she chose not to stare for long and directed her attention toward the seven warriors there.

They must not realize Cane's red eyes, because the alpha had his back against them, but when Cane turned around, he threw the bloody body of the headless beast without its limbs toward them, blood splattered everywhere and sprayed on their clothes when the body fell on the floor neartheir feet.

They gasped loudly and avoided to see the dead body and the alpha, they could sense the anger filled the room and how the atmosphere became so tensed.

"You bastard! Useless shifter!" The alpharoared angrily because their enemy managed to sneak inside the bedroom, he stalked closer toward them with his sharp claws emerged from the tip of his fingers. "You let this thing sneaked into this room!?What are you doing out there?! Fucking each other?!"

The seven warriors flinched, instinctively, they took a step back, because the dangerous aura that surrounded the alpha was so strong, they couldn't stand his dominant figure.

"O- our apologize, alpha..." Theystammered, begging for the alpha's mercy, the knew they had messed up big time to not notice the enemy sneaked into the bedroom, such mistake deserved death as the punishment, because they had put their alpha in gravely dangerous situation. Thealpha and the luna could be killed in their sleep!

"Apologize?!" the alpha sneered derisively.He and his mate's life could be offset by an apology? They must be still daydreaming now if they thought this matter would end here."You can atone to your sins with your lives!"

Lu growled and charged forward, he was ready to kill these useless seven warriors, who failed their assignment. Killing intent from the alpha couldn't be mistaken and all of them froze in their place, were not able to move an inch.

It would be their doom, that was it, this would be the end of it, if it was not for the luna took action in time. 2

"LU!" Iris threw the blanket away andsuppressed her urge to vomit when her barefoot felt the slicky blood on the floor, as she threw herself toward the lycan and hugged him from behind.

Lu roared angrily, but he didn't dare to shake Iris's body, neither he pushed her away. If he wanted, no matter how hard Irisstopped him, he would be able to kill these warriors off in a blink of an eye.

"Don't kill them, okay?" Iris pleaded softly.Cane would be devastated if he had to face with another death of his warriors. They just made up this afternoon and she didn't want to see him sad again, she could see how distraught he was upon losing his warriors.

If there would be a punishment, Cane should be the one, who decided it.

However, right now the lycan was livid beyond words!

"Useless mutt s like them don't deserve tobe alive!" Lu growled at Iris, but he retracted his claws, just in case he hurt her. It pissed him off when this petite girl could stop him so easily. He should have moved faster...

On the other hand, Iris grimaced, because in a way, she had defied his words again, even after she promised him not to do so.

"Let's find another suitable punishment,okay?" Iris didn't loosen her arms around his hips, as she lifted her head to look at thelycan in the eyes.

"Do you want to tort ure them? Cut theirlimbs one by one and pull their hearts slowly?"

The corner of Iris's lips twitched, this lycan was seemingly creative enough with his torture method, while the seven warriors immediately fell on their knees and had their head against the floor, they didn't care with the blood, as they begged for mercy.

Yet, Lu ignored their cry, as he continued because Iris didn't seem interested with his first idea.

"Or do you want to cut their flesh inch byinch before they could heal themselves, so in the end, they will not have anything left. We can also force them to eat part of their flesh, let's see if it will increase their healing ability."

"Lu..." Iris spoke softly, she felt so dizzy byonly listening to his cruelty.

Meanwhile, the warriors were too afraid for their own lives to realize Iris called the alpha with another name."Or..."

Lu wanted to suggest another thing when Iris kissed his cheek. "Let's clean yourself from this blood, while we are thinking what punishment for them."

Lu stared at Iris, she was wearing her night gown in front of these mutt s and he was not happy with that, especially when she dirtied herself with this useless beast, who tried to kill them.

"I told you to stay on the bed, now you aredirty."

"It's okay, lets clean up first and let them toclean this room too."

"Do you mean taking a bath together?"

Iris was speechless."Yes." 1

"Okay."

With that, Lu forgot about punishing those warriors, at least for now, since he had another important thing to do.

"Clean this mess and call Ethan to see me,"Iris ordered the seven of them, who were trembling in fear. They felt like their livesflashed before their eyes.

"Y- yes, yes, luna... thank you luna..."

If it was not for the luna intervention, they would have died by now, ended up like the beast before them, shredded to pieces...

They knew their alpha favored his mate, they also had witnessed how the luna left unscathed after defying his order, that event left them speechless, but what happened right now, showed how much the power that their luna held.

It was a risk that Iris had taken when she jumped onto an angry alpha, but she did that and it saved their lives, because they believed the alpha would kill them.

All of them lifted their head slightly, as they took a glance when the luna ushered the alpha into the bathroom and closed the door behind them.

They finally could breathe in relief when the alpha was out of their sight, the atmosphere felt a little bit lighter.

"I don't want to be on the luna's bad side..."one of the warriors muttered, as he fell onhis butt, staring blankly at the closed door of the bathroom. 1

The night fell into a deep silence, while the putrid smell of the blood filled the air. The seven warriors immediately got up and did what their luna had ordered them to do.

"Took off your clothes," Iris said, after sheprepared a bath for him, she put a few more stone into the water, so it would be warm enough.

"Okay," Lu obliged. He ripped his clothesand pants and within a second he was standing in front of Iris in his naked glory. "Do you want me to take off your dress?" 1

Iris was speechless. Her face turned so red to see Cane's naked body. Okay, it was not the first time for her to see him like this, but she still couldn't get used to it, unless they were in different situation.

"I-I will take off my dress later..." Irisstuttered a bit. "Get into the water, I will help you to clean the blood."

"We can bath together..." Lu whined, heapproached Iris. "Come on, take it off." He pulled on the string of her dress, like achild.

"Lu." At this point, Iris really wanted to cry,she was not sure she could go out of this situation easily.

"I miss you, that bastard didn't let me goout," Lu complained and Iris was not sure how to react. "Let's make a baby! You have never done it in the water, right? That man lacked of imagination. Come on! It will be fun!" ❷

Lu leaned over and whispered to her ear, as he told her the things that he was going to do to her, how he would pleasure her, while Iris petrified.

Though it was Cane's body, but Iris felt like she was cheating if she did it with him.
