"Yeah, I'm sure!" Francine answered with a confident nod. "Even if he's back in the city, he'd go to Corinne first, not home. You'll have a higher chance of finding him at the hospital instead of here." Annie sighed worriedly. "That's where I came from!"

Francine finally realized something was not right. "Did something happen? Is Corinne looking for Jeremy?"

Annie glanced at Pamela to make sure her attention was still focused on watering the flowers before whispering, "Actually, Corinne has already given birth today, bu-"

"What?! She's already given birth?" shouted Francine excitedly.

Her shout attracted Pamela's attention. She looked over at them and asked with a frown, "What are you two girls talking about? Who gave birth?"

Annie poked Francine secretly to tell her to shut up before smiling and replying to Pamela, "Oh, we're talking about a friend. It's her birthday today."

Her interest lost, Pamela simply nodded and went back to watering her flowers.

After that, Annie pulled Francine further away. "Why did you have to shout so loud?!"

"Why can't I? I mean, it's good news that Corinne has given birth. My grandparents will be happy to receive the news!"

"The thing is, for some reason unknown to us, Uncle Jeremy took the baby away, and we can't contact him!" said Annie. She could feel a headache coming.

Francine frowned in confusion. "Jeremy took the baby away? Why would he do that? Is he trying to pull some sort of prank on Corinne?"

"Uncle Jeremy would never do that! The triplets were born prematurely, and their weight was less than eight pounds at birth. The baby's life is at risk as we speak." 'Triplets?' Francine was overjoyed at the news, but her joy was short-lived. "Then where's Corinne now? Does she know about Jeremy and the babies?" she asked gravely. Annie shook her head. "Uncle Jeremy only took one of the babies away. The rest of us agreed to tell her she had twins, so no, she doesn't know what's happening at the moment. "The most important thing to do now is to find Uncle Jeremy and figure out why he took the baby away. It's dangerous for him to take a fragile premature baby away like that. Francine, do you know where he could've taken the baby?"

After thinking it over, Francine shook her head helplessly. "No. Jeremy never takes me with him wherever he goes, nor would he tell me. Should I ask my grandmother instead?"

Annie grabbed her wrist. "Forget it. The less people know, the better. She's going to rush to the hospital if she finds out Corinne has given birth. God knows we wouldn't be able to keep the truth from her then." "Then what do you suggest we do now?"

"You can come with me to look for Uncle Jeremy if you're free. We can see whether he's at his office."

Francine nodded. "Okay. I'll go with you. Let me tell Grandma first, then we'll leave."

"Remember, don't tell her anything," warned Annie worriedly.

"For sure."

The two of them left the mansion and went to Holden Group after Annie said goodbye to Pamela.

Sunny rushed over to the hospital after he heard from the servant at home that Corinne's water had broken. He managed to locate the room Corinne was staying in after asking the nurse station.

He knocked at the door, and his worried face instantly darkened when he saw it was Xante who opened the door for him.
