Natalie smiled, looking at the anxious Luna. She wasn't worried at all.

Wendy and Jerome hadn't even begun their counterattack yet.

Wendy had actually managed to protect all of her assets.

It was just that Nathan and Joanna were too arrogant to notice what Wendy had done.

She said with a smile, "Luna, don't worry. Take it easy. These things have to be done slowly. You can't rush these things-Rome wasn't built in a day. We have to plan every move carefully."

"I'm a business genius and an investment expert. You think I don't see right through Joanna's tricks?"

"Joanna is smart. She knows Mr. Wilson's main company is rotten to the core, so she didn't fight the Wilson family for its shares. She went after the branch companies. Just as I predicted, now that she's taken over the branches, her liquid assets are barely half a billion dollars."

"After the New Year, the Nayn project will launch, and she's banking everything on it to turn her fortunes around. Unfortunately for her, she's going to lose billions on that project. And that Mr. Griffith with her will lose a fortune as well."

"So don't worry, Luna. We'll just sit back and watch the show. Everything is under control."

Natalie was in a good mood. She sat up a little straighter and continued, "Luna, do you think those six branch companies are very profitable? No. In Joanna's hands, it will take at least three years before they turn a profit."

"What will break her capital chain is the Nayn land deal. But she has that man behind her. We need to investigate his assets to plan our next move. Find out his identity as soon as possible."

Luna looked troubled. She had already tried earlier. "Natalie, he looks exactly like Mr. Griffith, and we don't know his name. We can only confirm his last name is Griffith. I ran a search today but came up empty."

Natalie's eyes narrowed. "Don't be silly-just call him Mr. Griffith fore

now. Pull his flight records to see where he flew in from.

You can

check airport surveillance too; that

should be easy for you."

"Also, Luna, sometimes we need to learn from Joanna. The most formidable people

are the ones who are willing and able to play dumb."

Luna pouted. "Natalie, Joanna's act is disgusting. I don't want to be like her."

"Oh, you! I say you're silly and you prove me right. I'm not telling you to be like her, just to play dumb when we need to. For now, let's stay out of Joanna's business The New Year is almost here, and Mr. Wilson won't let her have a peaceful holiday."

"But our holiday will definitely be a good one."

Natalie was certain that once Maxwell was dealt with, her life would get much easier.

"I've dug up a little dirt on Timothy's company. Leak it tomorrow, and we can enjoy the holiday in peace."

Everyone deserved a break for the holidays. If they wouldn't let her have a peaceful New Year, she wouldn't let them have one either.

Luna looked at the confident and

vibrant Natalie and nodded quickly. That's perfect with some dirt on him, we can finally have a peaceful holiday."

Natalie's eyes crinkled with a smile.

"Oh, right, the New Year is in three days. Go do some holiday shopping and send

some gifts to Mr. Monroe and the Spencer family."

Thinking of Marshall made Natalie think of Maxwell.

After a setback like this, Joanna and her Mr. Griffith wouldn't let her off the hook. Maxwell would probably make a move on her soon.
