Seeing her eager expression, Natalie smiled and gave her hand a reassuring squeeze.

"Silly girl, why are you so curious about everything? I don't know the specifics. But we can finally have a peaceful New Year. As for Joanna's family, I doubt they'll have any peace."

"As for Nathan's trap, we'll just have to wait and see!"

Seeing that Natalie was being mysterious, Luna reined in her curiosity. She knew she would find out what the trap was soon enough.

"Natalie, I still haven't found any trace of Sean."

She was very worried about Sean, and her mood instantly plummeted.

Natalie smiled at her concern. "Don't worry, he'll be fine."

Luna was anxious. "Natalie, how can you be so sure they're okay? I've checked all the nearby prisons, and Sean isn't in any of them."

Natalie raised an eyebrow, her eyes twinkling. She wasn't certain, but a woman's sixth sense was powerful. "Luna, trust a woman's sixth sense. They'll be fine."

Luna lowered her eyes and said nothing.

Natalie found her behavior a bit strange and couldn't help but ask, “Luna, you two haven't developed feelings for each other after all this time, have you?"

At her words, Luna's face turned bright red. She quickly shook her head, denying it. "No... Of course not! We've been through life and death together, so I just don't want anything to happen to him. You've asked about this before, and I've already explained it."

Natalie gave her a knowing smile. The little girl was getting shy. "Luna, Sean is actually a great guy. He's loyal. He'd make a great husband."

Luna froze, looking up at Natalie's serious expression. She whispered, "You think he's a good person too?"

"Yes. He's a very good person. Luna, if you two got together, you'd have my blessing."

"You're a grown woman, old enough to get married. Luna, I'm grateful you've been by my side as we grew up, but if you find your own happiness, you must seize it."

Sean was a good man. It seemed it was just him and his mother left in his family. His father passed away during his first year of college.

All these years, he had been fighting alongside Sebastian in the business world without picking up any bad habits from that glitzy environment. He had always conducted himself with integrity.

In this life and the last, the Sean she knew had always been a good person.

And among all of Sebastian's people, only Sean was truly and completely loyal to him.

"Natalie, if Mr. Griffith comes back, will you forgive him?" Luna was very curious about this.

Natalie smiled, pulling the divorce

papers from her drawer and waving the of he in "It's over

between us. We met at the wrong

time, and there was never a way for

us to grow old together."

"So, don't worry about me. Go and bravely pursue your own love. Luna, life is short.

You have to live it on your own terms."

Luna was unhappy. She wanted her sister to be happy too.

"Natalie, I want you to be happy too."

"What's so difficult about that? I can find someone who loves me even more."

Natalie handed her a list. "Go see who is on the guest list for Mr. Hayes's party tonight and get things ready."

"Okay!"

After Luna left, Natalie opened her laptop and started working.

In the office across the way.

Sebastian stared at his computer screen, watching Natalie already at work. His deep gaze was fixed on the divorce papers she always carried with her. Did getting divorced really make her this happy

Sean stood beside him, wiping away tears. Luna was worried about him.
