Stephen Ward wore a dark, mocking smirk. Looking at the pathetic Adrian, he felt a sense of satisfaction. "Adrian, you bullied me for three years in high school. It wasn't because I was weak, but because I didn't want to ruin my future over trash like you. Now, I've graduated from a top university and run a very successful company with a bright future. Compared to a rich kid like you who just leeches off his family, I am outstanding, I am brilliant. Trash like you will only ever know how to bully the weak."

Adrian looked at Stephen Ward in shock. Was he really that kind of person?

Impossible!

How could he be someone who preyed on the weak?

And he certainly wasn't someone who bullied the vulnerable.

He was a man bursting with a sense of justice.

He only bullied Natalie because he couldn't stand seeing her scheme against Joanna.

What right did a nobody from some backwater town have to be compared to a socialite like Joanna?

He just hated Natalie's malicious tactics. As for what he did to Stephen Ward, that was just youthful ignorance.

"Stephen Ward, I know I was wrong for what I did to you in high school. But today, I was absolutely not bullying the weak. Don't be fooled by that venomous woman, Natalie."

"She's the one who stole the Griffith family, who schemed against Joanna. A conniving woman like her deserves to be scorned by everyone."

Stephen Ward sneered. Seeing Adrian in such a sorry state was indeed quite satisfying.

"Adrian, are you bitter because Ms. Stone took over the Griffith Group, or are you bitter because you've lost your safety net?"

"Also, the Ms. Stone you speak of is brilliant, a thousand times more brilliant than you, and ten thousand times more brilliant than a manipulative woman like Joanna.”

"Joanna stole Ms. Stone's designs to enter a competition. You all could have seen these things, but you were afraid of embarrassing yourselves, so you pretended not to see."

Natalie was a bit surprised. This Stephen Ward was no ordinary person; he even knew about all that.

Adrian had always managed Sebastian's overseas companies; he had only returned to the country for the new year.

To be kicked out of the company right after he got back-of course he was unwilling to accept it.

In his eyes, Natalie had used despicable means to seize the company.

But Stephen Ward's words crushed his pride, grinding it into the dust. Naturally, he was bitter about both.

Why should the empire Sebastian built be handed over to Natalie on a silver platter?!

Those two old fools from the Griffith family must have lost their minds to draw up such an agreement!

He was filled with hatred, but he didn't dare say the real reason, for fear of ruining Sebastian and Joanna's reputation.

Seeing him speechless, Stephen

Ward continued to twist the knife. "Adrian, your family has relied on the Griffith family to get to where you are today. Without the Griffith family, how long do you think your little family business can last?"

"Now that Ms. Stone is in charge of the Griffith family, your family can't benefit anymore, so you show your true colors on her and take it out

And you, Adrian, thinking you're some kind of savior, are nothing special!"

Stephen Ward's eyes were cold and piercing.

Adrian was left speechless, his face flushing with shame. He looked down on Stephen Ward, but in Stephen's eyes, he was nothing at all.

Natalie hadn't realized that the person Adrian looked up to had also been a high school bully.

Stephen Ward said mockingly,

“Adrian, you're just Joanna's lapdog.

The few of us were in the same

class My grades were better than Joanna's, so you couldn't stand the Sight of me."

"A manipulative woman like Joanna just had to cry a little in front of you guys, and you treated me like an enemy."

"Adrian, do you believe in karma? I do!" Stephen Ward laughed eerily and walked away.

Natalie suddenly felt like she had just witnessed some major drama.

Adrian was stunned as he watched Stephen Ward's retreating back.
