What did Stephen Ward say? That he was Joanna's lapdog?!
"Stephen Ward, what nonsense are you spewing? Joanna is kind-hearted. If she hadn't spoken up for you, do you think you'd still be standing here in one piece?"
He shouted in anger, but Stephen Ward didn't even pause, striding away.
"Ma'am.” Tyler emerged from the elevator.
Natalie glanced at Tyler and waved a dismissive hand at Ethan, who then left.
Natalie said, "Tyler, to the lounge."
"Yes, Ma'am." Tyler pushed Natalie toward the lounge.
"Natalie..."
Natalie looked at him with a warning in her eyes. "Adrian, you should be thankful that call didn't go through. If you keep harassing me, I'll call the police immediately. You were the one who pushed me first."
Adrian wanted to say more but could only glare at Natalie, holding his tongue.
He wanted to beg Natalie, but what right did a nobody from some backwater town have to make him grovel?
He could only watch as Natalie left.
In the lounge.
Chloe was still shaken. She looked at Luna's calm, little face and hugged herself nervously, not daring to speak.
She had been truly terrified tonight. Her professor had said he was taking her to sign with a company.
But when they got to the private room, there were several young men whose eyes were filled with ill intent the moment they saw her.
What she never could have dreamed of was that the first person to tell her to take off her clothes was her own professor.
She was very interested in jewelry design, and her professor had found her a suitable company.
But she hadn't expected it to be a trap.
The professor's malicious intentions and the unfair contract made her both angry and helpless.

Seeing her trembling with fear, Luna walked over to comfort her. "Don't

d they won't dare cause trouble in here."
Chloe's face was pale. Looking at Luna's composed expression, she tried to stay
calm, but she still felt cold and terrified.
She was still a university student, unweathered by the real world. Having always lived in the relatively innocent environment of campus, she knew nothing of the darkness in people's hearts.
What she had experienced tonight was beyond anything she could have imagined.
She tremblingly told Luna what had happened, and Luna was furious after hearing
it.
How could there be such wicked people in the world?
Chloe asked worriedly, "Miss, are you sure they can't find me here?"
Luna's tone was firm. "Yes, don't worry. They can't find you here. My sister will be here soon. After you change your clothes, we'll send you on your way."
Chloe could only pray that they were good people. She didn't have the strength to run anymore.

Hearing the knock, Chloe tensed up and stared at the door.
Luna went to open it and saw that Natalie had arrived.
Tyler stood guard at the door. Natalie came in and handed a set of clothes to Chloe. "Go change behind the screen."
Chloe sensed her kindness and gave a grateful smile without speaking, taking the clothes and going behind the screen to change.
A few minutes later, Chloe came out wearing Natalie's haute couture suit. As a designer, she knew very well that the outfit she was weaning was incredibly expensive.
Feeling Natalie's kindness, her anxious heart began to calm down.
She looked at Natalie, her voice trembling slightly with gratitude. "Miss, thank you
for saving me tonight. May I know your name?"
