"Let's eat. After we clean up, we'll play cards. I haven't played in years. We'll play cards together and ring in the New Year."
Natalie felt she was being quite sincere.
In previous years, she had always waited on Sebastian, hoping for a warmth that would never come her way.
She wasn't that foolish anymore.
Things like family and love-if they weren't meant to be, she wouldn't force them.
One of the hardest lessons in life was learning to let go of what wasn't meant to be. Luna was thrilled. She was always lucky at cards.
Her excited face showed faint dimples. "Keith, you guys hurry up and eat. Once we're done, it's game on. I'm definitely going to win a lot of money this year."
Because Natalie lost nine out of ten times she gambled.
Hahaha...
Luna placed a whole fish in her bowl and laughed heartily. "To a prosperous new year!' No one's stealing this from me."
Keith and the others chuckled at her antics.
"It's all yours. There's more in the pot. You can have as many as you want, as long as you're not afraid of bursting."
Keith was very fond of her. They had grown up together, and in his heart, Luna had always been like a little sister.
Luna said, "I'm not that ambitious. This one is enough. A prosperous new year for everyone. This year, I hope the three of you find wonderful wives and start beautiful families of your own soon."
Keith, Tyler, and Ethan were stunned.
But the thought was a happy one.
Natalie looked at the three handsome men.
"I mean, you three are so good-looking. At your age, other people already have kids old enough to run errands. Your future wivels are still waiting for you. Next year, you should all try harder to get married. Just like Luna said, I want to see you all starting your own families."
"You've been with me for so many years, you don't have to worry about houses.
Since I'm looking out for you, I'll make sure your future wives are well taken care of."
The three men couldn't help but smile.
Tyler smiled the most shyly. "Ma'am,, it should be us making them happy."
"Hey! Tyler, you're only two years older than me, but I've always looked out for you guys like family. I was supposed to give you all houses, but I haven't been around these past few years. After the new year passes, I'll arrange for the houses. I know you're not short on money, but this is something I promised you."
Keith and the others were all very happy. After all, no one would complain about owning more property.
All four of them were orphans, chosen and trained by Mr. Sanders Sr. They were grateful for everything and lived with a sense of gratitude.
Keith said, "Thank you, Boss!"
Tyler and Ethan said, “Thank you, Ma'am,!”
Luna tilted her head and grinned foolishly. "Thank you, Ma'am,!"
Natalie pointed to the delicious spread. “Hurry up and eat your New Year's Eve dinner. After we eat, I'll give you your New Year's bonuses, and then you can play cards with me."
"Hehe..."
They all couldn't help but laugh happily.
At Natalie's place, the atmosphere was warm, harmonious, and happy. Sebastian and Sean were both sick and didn't have much of an appetite.
But they were both watching the surveillance feed of Natalie and Luna's group. They were all so happy. Seeing the harmonious and warm ocene Sean suddenly felt that anyone around Natalie must be very happy.
He watched Keith's attitude, finding it hard to understand.
He took a bite of braised pork, then looked up at Sebastian's faintly mesmerized gaze and asked with some confusion, “Sir, why does everyone defer to Madam?”
