When lan saw Natalie's reply, he beamed. Ms. Sanders, just wait two years for me. I'll definitely come and help you.

Natalie was unaware of lan's thoughts. She was only focused on dragging Joanna down to hell and getting her revenge. As for the fates of others, she would save who she could.

In the afternoon, just as she was leaving work, she ran into Jared and Monica, who had come looking for her.

Just seeing them made Natalie feel disgusted.

Jared handed Natalie a wedding invitation. "Natalie, my wedding is coming up. You are, after all, my sister by blood..."

"Don't bother. I won't be there. I have nothing to do with the Scott family anymore."

Natalie's cold voice cut him off.

Jared was angry. "Natalie, why are you so stubborn? I came all this way to invite you personally. What more do you want?"

Natalie thought he was delusional. She laughed mockingly. "Jared, what exactly do you want from me? You're the one who told me not to claim any relation to you in public. And now you're using that very relation to invite me to your wedding?"

"You despise me, so why invite me? To spoil your big day?"

Monica said plaintively, "Natalie, please don't say that. You're family, connected by blood..."

Natalie interrupted her again. "Don't make it sound so lovely. Does family plot against you behind your back? Do they tarnish your name with the most vicious slander for no reason?"

"Get lost! Don't stand here and disgust me," Natalie said coldly, striding away.

Jared was furious. "Natalie, don't be so ungrateful! It's an honor that I came to invite you myself."

Natalie didn't even spare him a glance and walked straight toward the street.

Monica looked hurt. She whispered, "Jared, let's go. Natalie probably looks down on someone with roy background. That's why she won't come to our wedding.

Jared was angry too. He felt a little guilty about slandering Natalie's reputation, which was why he had come to invite her, but she had refused.

"Monica, this has nothing to do with you. Let's go. If she doesn't want to come fine. Even though the others cant make it, my father and Joanna will be there, and so will Grandma and Grandpa."

Only then did Monica nod happily.

"Jared, you should go ahead. We're getting married soon, and I need to buy a few things by myself. I'll contact you later."

Jared was a bit puzzled. "I can go with you. What do you want to buy?"

Monica smiled. "No need. Just some small decorations for the house. Don't you

have a dinner engagement tonight? You go on ahead. I'll go."

Jared didn't press the issue. Thinking about Natalie's attitude, he felt that maybe he

had bullied her too much in the past, leading her to act this way.

He thought to himself that he should be nicer to Natalie in the future.

After watching Monica leave, he called Natalie again.

Natalie was already in a car. She had plans to meet Marshall tonight.

When she saw Jared's call, she answered. "Hello?"

Jared said quickly, "Natalie, I'll be nicer to you from now on. Just quit your position as Design Director and stop opposing Joanna. I won't be so ruthless with you anymore

Hearing this, Natalie almost choked with rage.

She yelled furiously, "Jared, you son of a bitch! What right do you have to dictate my life?"
