But now, he deeply regretted it. He looked like a worn-out old man.

"What's wrong? Don't have the heart to slap yourself?" Mr. Wilson's smile was cruel; he wanted to tear him to pieces.

He loved to play with people's minds.

Take his naive wife, for example. Besides doting on him, she did little else. Her

family's business had gradually fallen into his hands, and even though he toyed with her emotions, she still treated him well. Life was incredibly comfortable.

He lived like a king every day.

She had been away for the past few days, and he felt a little unaccustomed to her absence.

He had many women on the side, but he liked Sophia the best. She had more tricks up her sleeve and knew how to have fun.

And his wife knew nothing. Watching her foolishly thinking of his well-being every day brought him great pleasure.

Now, playing with Nathan's woman and making him slap himself the feeling was just too satisfying.

"Wilson, you'll die a miserable death."

For the sake of his future plans, Nathan slapped himself hard across the face twice.

The sharp sounds of the slaps echoed in the room.

Sophia watched Nathan hit himself, finding it hard to believe.

Nathan was so proud and concerned with his image, a man who would abandon his own biological daughter to raise hers, was now obediently slapping himself.

Sophia sneered in disbelief. "Nathan, you're so pathetic!"

Nathan's eyes were dark as he looked at her coldly. "Mr. Wilson, I did as you asked. Can I go now?"

"Get lost!" Mr. Wilson waved his hand impatiently. This was boring. Nathan had no backbone at all. It was no fun.

Humiliation was written all over Nathan's face as he quickly left.

At the door, he turned, his eyes filled with murderous intent. *Sophia, you two just wait.*

Natalie and Sebastian, standing not far away, saw the intense hatred in his eyes clearly.

Natalie's eyes lit up with excitement. "Ahh... Sebastian, your future

father in law is very impressive is he? How come they didn't get into a fight?"

Sebastian looked down at her. "He's your father too. So, technically, he's my father- in-law as well."

Natalie frowned at him. "No, I have a feeling. I've always felt like I'm not his daughter. I don't look anything like him. With genes as good as mine, there's no way came from Nathan."

Nathan was an idiot. Besides, she had doubted this more than once.

The paternity test she sent in had confirmed he was her biological father, but she just had a feeling that there wasn't a strong connection between them.

Sebastian looked at her delicate features, also lost in thought. "You have Mrs. Scott's features, but you really don't look like Nathan at all."

Natalie smiled. "Don't overthink it, I was just teasing you. I did a paternity test. I really am his daughter."

Natalie happily returned to her room. This was great. Those three were about to start fighting amongst themselves.

So, she was living much smarter this time around. Some things didn't require her to lift a finger someone else would take care of them for her. She could just sit back and watch the show. So much easier.

That old geezer Nathan was a nasty piece of work.

But he was no match for Wendy.

Wendy was a seasoned veteran in the business world, while Nathan had spent all these years hiding behind her.

With Wendy sheltering him, he couldn't stand on his own. Right now, he didn't dare to offend Mr. Wilson, but who could say what the future held?

Sebastian watched her, a playful smile on his face. "Your method is pretty good. Let them tear each other apart."
