Chapter 733

Even Stanley was taken aback.

He knew Cecilia well.

She had been pampered since childhood, born into privilege and raised in comfort, which naturally made her arrogant and willful. She got whatever she wanted and had never known hardship. People fawned over her everywhere she went.

And now, Jayson was forcing her into a rehabilitation facility?

That would be a devastating blow to her, to both her pride and her mind. It would be no different from completely humiliating her.

Jayson, of course, understood that perfectly.

Without him, someone like Cecilia would glide through life unscathed. That kind of place would never touch her. Even if this scandal had broken on its own later, she would have emerged unscathed

without so much as a stain on her reputation.

But he wasn’t giving her an out. He was going to strike where it hurt most.

He ignored Samson and looked straight at Stanley. “Of course, there’s a condition. During these three years, neither the Pryce family nor the Ulmer family should give Ms. Pryce any special treatment. She must… go through full treatment.”

There was no leniency at all.

Samson noticed the cold ruthlessness beneath Jayson’s calm exterior. He was out to break Cecilia

completely.

“Mr. Larkin, are you fine with turning the Pryce and Ulmer families into enemies?” Samson smirked.

Jayson was clearly heretothreaten them over what happened with Ariel. He didn’t mind taking everyone down with him.

But it was just an embryo!

Jayson leaned back and looked at him. “When Ms. Pryce did those things, did the Pryce and Ulmer families consider the consequences of opposing the Larkin family? I’m only doing this to protect your reputation and status.”

“Are we supposed to thank you for that?” Samson sneered, his expression icy.

He understood all too well what Jayson really meant. It was a practical problem.

Jayson could take risks and play the game, but the Pryce family was a different case.

Especially since the Larkins held more than just business power.

Stanley knew this too.

Everyone knew Jayson’s background placed him at the top of Eldoria’s hierarchy. But in truth, his connections ran even deeper.

Before Jeffrey retired, he held a high–ranking government position, and many of his former subordinates now occupy key roles across various departments–some in positions most people couldn’t even imagine.

Jayson also had political leverage. Even his maternal grandfather in Sorenta wielded major influence

there, all at Jayson’s disposal.

Politics was its own kind of battlefield, and Stanley understood the stakes all too well.

Cecilia wasn’t actually his biological daughter but the orphaned child of a close friend. He and Kristen had adopted her and raised her as their own.

Even if she wasn’t his by blood, he still had a responsibility to her.

Stanley knew that Jayson wanted a clear answer today.

He knew better than anyone what was at stake. If Cecilia brought him any political stain, the cost would be too great. Even if he stepped down one day, his people would still be dragged into it. In their world, there was no room for even the slightest disturbance.

“I agree,” Stanley finally said.

“We’ll follow your plan. I’ll send her abroad for three years, and she will never return. It’s my fault for not raising her properly. I won’t shirk responsibility. She should use the time to turn over a new leaf.”

He knew Jayson was serious. He also knew that if Cecilia hadn’t acted recklessly, they wouldn’t be in this position.

Exiling her abroad might actually be the best outcome.

Samson wasn’t surprised by Stanley’s decision. From the moment he saw Jayson, he knew nothing good would come of this meeting.

Jayson rose and nodded at Stanley. “Thank you for understanding. Once I leave, Ms. Pryce’s case will vanish from the public eye. You have my word.”
