Chapter 1115:
Elena’s gaze sharpened just a little. Russell? It must be Stella. Everything clicked into place. No wonder the Onyx Rose Association had been able to run rampant in Klathe. While other criminal organizations had been wiped out by the police, the Onyx Rose Association had managed to “go legit.” Liam had been backing them from the shadows the entire time. Even with Liam behind bars now, the group was still operating with bold arrogance.
Nichol scowled, his voice growing harsher. “This is your last chance. Kneel, beg for mercy, and come with me, or—”
“Stop wasting my time,” Elena snapped. “Let’s get this over with. Come at me, all of you.”
Nichol’s face twisted with rage. “You little missy, you’re asking for it! Guys, get her!”
The moment he shouted the order, the gang members rushed straight at Elena, bats raised high.
Elena slipped effortlessly through the chaos, dodging swinging bats with cool efficiency and landing sharp side kicks that hurled attackers off their feet. Bodies crashed to the ground, bats clattering after them, the noise echoing around the place. Before these attackers could grasp what had happened, they were already sprawled across the concrete.
A glint of cruelty flashed in Nichol’s eyes as he stared Elena down. “So that’s why you’re fearless. Turns out you’re trained. But too bad you ran into me today.” With that, he lunged forward, swinging his bat at Elena’s head with a vicious snarl.
Elena pivoted just in time, letting the bat slice through empty air. Nichol stumbled, pulled forward by his own wild swing, and nearly lost his balance. Spinning around, he fixed Elena with a murderous glare.
He attempted a sneak attack, but she caught the move and knocked him back with a well-placed kick.
Elena’s patience wore thin. “I told you to come at me all at once. Quit dragging this out—I’m busy.”
Her arrogant words poured fuel on Nichol’s rage. He shouted, “Enough of the tough act, you witch! Guys, get her!”
The gangsters swarmed, but Elena darted through them like a shadow, every motion fluid and fast.
Moments later, the whole place fell silent—every one of the gangsters lay groaning on the ground.

With a flick of her wrists, Elena brushed imaginary dust from her hands. “If all of you had come at me from the very beginning, it would have been much quicker. All that talk for nothing.”
The sight the gangsters made—bright hair, bruised skin, groaning bodies—was more like a wild painting than a real fight, half ridiculous and half sad.
Elena barely shifted her weight forward before one of the gang members retreated, fear etched across his face. “She’s way out of our league, Nichol. We can’t take her down even together.”
Another voice chimed in, “Yeah. Maybe we should get out of here, Nichol. I don’t want to end up worse.”
One man whimpered, clutching his cheek. “My face is killing me—I think she knocked out one of my teeth!”
Their collective grumbling painted a ridiculous picture—robust men reduced to whining like children.
In a burst of frustration, Nichol lashed out with a kick, aiming for the guy complaining about the likely loss of his tooth, only to wince as pain shot through his own bruises.
Grinding his teeth, Nichol retorted, “Seriously? It’s just a tooth! I’ve been through hell and never made a sound. Keep up the bellyaching, and you’re out of the Onyx Rose Association for good!”
