Chapter 1195:

Before he could come up with a comeback, a massive cruise ship appeared in the distance where the sea met the sky.

Alleyne narrowed his eyes, focusing on the vessel. “What is that?”

Lance reached into a nearby cabinet, grabbed a pair of binoculars, and looked through them. “Oh, that’s the Gaxora. Don’t worry about it. That ship doesn’t usually stop at ports in Yoswye.”

Elena repeated the name, puzzled. “The Gaxora?”

Lance handed her the binoculars. “It’s a luxury cruise ship for the super wealthy who want to travel the world in style and excitement. Trust me, you’re not gonna find Wesley there.”

Elena was silent for a few seconds, lost in thought. Then she spoke firmly. “Let’s get closer to it.”

Lance’s face twisted with confusion. “What? Why go near that thing? The Gaxora has permission to sail anywhere in the world. Whoever owns it is powerful as hell, and nobody even knows who they are. We shouldn’t mess with that ship.”

Even though Lance didn’t venture out much, being the Prince of Yoswye meant he knew exactly which people were too dangerous to cross. The owner of the Gaxora was definitely someone he had no intention of provoking. The fact that the Gaxora could travel to any port on earth, and that even pirates were too terrified to attack it, told him everything he needed to know about how powerful and dangerous its owner was.

Elena didn’t bother offering any more explanation. “I’m the captain of this group. Just do what I tell you.”

Lance clearly didn’t want to, but he returned to the wheel and adjusted their course, steering the ship straight toward the Gaxora.

Lance pushed the ship’s engine to maximum power, determined to close the few kilometers between them and the Gaxora in just minutes. But only a few hundred meters out, the vessel suddenly jolted and came to a complete stop.

Alleyne glanced around in confusion. “What the hell just happened?”

Lance scratched the back of his head, looking embarrassed. “Uh… it looks like we’re completely out of gas. My sister gave me this boat, and I haven’t taken it out in ages. I totally forgot to fill the damn tank.”

Alleyne’s face darkened with frustration. “Are you kidding me? How do you forget something that basic? What are we supposed to do now?”

Lance quickly tried to calm him down. “Relax, I’ll get someone to bring us fuel right away.”

They were stranded in the middle of the sea with no land in sight. The only other vessel nearby was the Gaxora, visible in the distance.

Lance and Alleyne exchanged uneasy, worried looks.

Meanwhile, back in Yoswye, serious drama was about to unfold. At Lord Rosethorne’s sprawling mansion, a lavish banquet was underway, attended by the wealthiest and most influential people in the region.

The occasion was Lord Rosethorne’s birthday celebration. Dressed in a perfectly pressed black suit, he exuded confidence and authority, while Elyse clung gracefully to his arm as they welcomed the steady stream of guests.
