Chapter 766:
She had doubted Vivian’s illness before but had no proof. Now she finally saw it—Vivian had been faking it all along. If not for Giffard’s safety, she would have exposed Vivian right there.
“I’m only streaming, nothing else,” Vivian defended quickly.
Millie laughed lightly. “Oh, really? Just streaming, without squeezing viewers dry? Am I not telling the truth? You’ve been painting me as the villain all along, haven’t you?”
Her tone turned cold. “Fine then. I’ll say it straight. I’m standing here and demanding justice for myself and for my innocent supporters!”
Vivian’s lips trembled, but no words came out.
Her phone buzzed at that moment.
Millie’s eyes shifted. “Better check that.”
Vivian grabbed her phone. Johnny’s message appeared—it mentioned Millie and Evans Entertainment’s joint statement.
She skimmed through. It advised viewers to stay rational and came with a legal notice, reserving the right to take legal action against Vivian.
“See?” Millie addressed the audience as tips against Vivian’s song instantly slowed.
Comments poured in, calling on others to stop spending on Vivian since it was clearly a trap. Vivian saw it too.
Hatred filled her eyes. She had never thought Millie would come out herself. In Vivian’s plan, Millie would have let others act on her behalf.
That way, Vivian could claim Millie was playing unfairly to crush her, acting like the victim to cover her own wrongs.
But Millie had stepped right into her stream, risking her image to face her head-on.
Vivian wanted to twist the story, but Millie gave her no such chances.
Comments flew across the screen:

“Millie’s got guts!”
“She’s fearless!”
“Facing this right before her concert—love it!”
Vivian fumed inside.
But Millie paid her no mind.
“Vivian, let’s return to the point,” she said steadily. “Do you ever reflect on what you’ve been doing these past months?”
Vivian sneered. “What’s there to reflect on? Everything I’ve done is out in the open.”
Millie let out a soft chuckle.
Some people only woke up when it was too late. “I’ll give you time. I have a concert today, and I won’t let you spoil it. So repent, Vivian. Before the concert ends, you owe me an—” Her words were sharp and clear.
Vivian wanted to argue, but the look in Millie’s eyes stirred unease in her chest. For a moment, she felt Millie truly knew something. But she quickly dismissed it, convincing herself it was all a bluff.
