Chapter 904:
Her phone kept buzzing with endless notifications. The latest message was from Johnny, and it made her blood run cold. “Vivian, I can’t fix this mess. You’re going to have to figure it out on your own.”
A chill ran down Vivian’s spine as the reality of her situation sank in.
She glanced across the room at Brandon and the others, who were still calmly discussing their paperwork procedures. Anxiety and fear churned in her stomach, but underneath it all was a burning hatred that threatened to consume her.
She hated that anonymous user 567 for releasing the damning footage, but more than anything, she hated Millie with every fiber of her being.
If Millie hadn’t constantly fought against her and hadn’t challenged her at every turn, none of this disaster would have happened!
This was all Millie’s fault, and Vivian vowed she would make her pay for it.
Dark thoughts began swirling in Vivian’s mind like poison, each idea more vicious than the last. She was like a cornered snake, ready to strike with deadly venom at the person she blamed for all her problems.
Millie suddenly felt something unsettling in the air. She looked up from her documents and glanced in Vivian’s direction, catching a glimpse of something hostile in the other woman’s expression.
The feeling left Millie somewhat confused and uneasy.
Fortunately, all the procedures had been completed successfully.
“I’ll personally monitor the follow-up process,” Myron said in his calm, professional tone. “I expect everyone involved to cooperate fully with the terms we’ve agreed upon.”
Millie nodded, relief flooding through her.
That was exactly what she had been hoping for—a clean resolution to this mess.

Nearby, Barbara had been quietly observing Vivian throughout the entire meeting. She had noticed the dramatic shift in Vivian’s behavior—from aggressive and confrontational at the beginning to eerily silent and withdrawn now.
The sudden transformation felt ominous and dangerous.
At that exact moment, Eugene’s phone suddenly vibrated with an urgent new message.
Eugene’s eyes darted to his phone, a wave of shock passing through him as he read the message.
Not wanting to draw unnecessary attention before things were clear, he glanced at the group across the room and quietly made his exit. At the door, an anxious figure waited, fidgeting with worry.
Without wasting a second, Eugene closed the door behind him and asked, “Did you get to the bottom of it? Was Vivian really the one who shoved Miss Bennett down the stairs and caused her to lose her baby?”
The assistant responded with a solemn nod. “It’s confirmed. There’s a video posted by user 567, and that’s not all.”
Handing over a tablet, the assistant let Eugene see Leif’s detailed breakdown for himself.
A cold shiver crept over Eugene as he absorbed the evidence.
Inside the room, the conversation had just wrapped up.
Millie started to gather the stack of papers in front of her.
She gave Myron a grateful look, and then turned her attention to Derek and Norma.
