It must be Analia!
Zachary’s expression was somber. Although Analia didn’t follow him, she didn’t relent and actually sent flowers and clothes to his home.
Mr. Dawson invited Zachary to dinner today and decided to collaborate. It was impossible for Analia to be unaware of this.
She deliberately sent the flowers and clothes after he left the house, intending to create misunderstandings between him and Serenity.
That woman, Analia, was quite devious.
“I had a productive conversation with Mr. Dawson, and we finalized the collaboration. Thinking back on it, Serenity, I have decided to abandon this project.”
Mr. Dawson had only one daughter, Analia. It was rumored that he had a health issue, making it difficult for him and his wife to have children, which led them to cherish their daughter deeply.
While Mr. Dawson was reasonable, if he didn’t bring Analia along today, he wouldn’t support her pursuit of Zachary, but Zachary wasn’t willing to take that risk.
Parents who indulged their children, regardless of their level of reason, would ultimately yield, compromise, and side with their offspring.
If he partnered with the Dawsons, it would facilitate Analia’s access to York Corporation.
“Husband, this is a significant business opportunity. Once it’s finalized, why fear the collaboration? You can’t physically confront her. As long as you aren’t interested in her, her actions will be pointless.” Serenity still had faith in Zachary.
Of course, Serenity felt upset about another woman’s attention on her husband.
However, she didn’t want personal feelings to jeopardize the partnership between the two companies.
Business is business, and private matters are private.
The cooperation ends due to personal feelings. “Husband, I trust you completely. That woman can’t take my husband away, no matter how strong she is. Focus on finishing this project first, and then you can make money. It’s not a long-term partnership.”
This project with the Dawson Group prompted Zachary to personally engage in discussions, indicating the significant profits it could bring to the York Corporation. As the wife of the president, Serenity naturally hoped for the corporation’s financial success. She felt it was a missed opportunity to pass up a chance to earn money.
Zachary remained silent for a moment before asking, “Has Sonny’s fever subsided?”
“The fever is completely gone. I just took him out to play, and he was sweating. I checked his temperature when we returned, and it was thirty-six point nine.”
Zachary replied, “That’s good. Serenity, please take the bouquet and those clothes to the hotel. I’ll give them to Mr. Dawson and ask him to return them to Ms. Dawson.”
Zachary hadn’t anticipated anyone other than Analia sending them.
“Don’t you want to investigate first? Have someone ensure it was sent by Ms. Dawson before asking Mr. Dawson to return it. What if there are other admirers besides her?”
Zachary responded, “I really didn’t attract any attention.”
“I know you didn’t attract attention; it’s just that they caught a whiff of your scent.”
Zachary’s expression darkened.
“I’ll have Josh look into it for me. First, bring the items over and place them in the bodyguard’s car. Don’t touch them to avoid getting your hands dirty. We’ll wait for Josh’s answer before asking Mr. Dawson to take them back.”
“Okay,” Serenity replied.
I agreed to assist him in sending those items to Wiltspoon Hotel later.
