Zachary encountered a man who resembled him, and after some training, he arranged for this man to meet Analia. With Analia’s intelligence, she instinctively knew how to handle the situation.

Zachary struggled to understand, so he sought help from Serenity.

If Serenity misinterpreted Zachary’s actions and assumed he was cheating or had a mistress, her personality might lead her to propose a divorce.

But how could Zachary consider divorce when he loved his wife and appreciated his life with her?

He refused to be wronged in this circumstance and would conduct a thorough investigation. Analia was bound to face misfortune at that point.

Misfortune awaited Analia. If her second uncle became angry with her, he might expel her from Dawson Group, leaving Kingston in control of the company.

“Okay.”

“Let’s proceed immediately, but be cautious. Don’t leave any traces, and ensure it’s clear that I’m not involved in this matter. The York family and the Bucham family have a good relationship, and the Bucham family is formidable.”

Kingston instructed his subordinate.

The man nodded, taking heed of the warning.

Kingston waved his hand, signaling for his subordinate to leave quietly.

“Analia, at last, I have something to use against you.” Kingston’s eyes gleamed with ruthlessness. “This time, if I don’t force you out of Dawson Group, I’ll no longer deserve the name Kingston.”

Not only did Kingston succeed in expelling Analia from the Dawson family, but he also ensured her second uncle was furious with her, marrying her off in a distant location.

Anyone who crossed Zachary would face dire consequences.

……

“Ha-choo, ha-choo.”

Zachary, who was far away in Wiltspoon, sneezed several times in succession.

Duncan and Liberty exchanged glances.

Liberty asked with concern, “Zachary, are you coming down with a cold?”

He handed it to his friend. Since becoming disabled, he had become accustomed to carrying paper towels on his body in case he fell and needed to clean himself up. “It must be Serenity who misses me. She has been away for so long that it’s no wonder I don’t miss her,” he thought. Zachary believed he was strong and rarely fell ill, but he was sure his wife missed him.

Cold? Serenity might return immediately if he actually caught a cold. She knew he was afraid of taking medicine because of its bitter taste, even if it was traditional. When she wasn’t there to watch him, he would often toss the medicine in the trash. When illnesses lingered, he preferred to wait for them to resolve on their own.

As Zachary contemplated self-sabotage by deliberately getting sick to draw his wife back, he reached for the tissue from his friend. Upon pulling it out, he grimaced and said, “Duncan, your tissue has a strong smell. I-I don’t like it very much.”

Liberty, noticing the scent, replied, “This smell is lovely. Sonny really enjoys scented tissues, and whenever we go out to eat, he comments on how nice the hotel napkins smell.”

Zachary remained silent. Previously, Duncan hadn’t brought tissues, but now he did, opting for fragrant ones to please Sonny without being asked. The primary reason was that Liberty also enjoyed this fragrance.

After wiping his nose, Zachary asked Liberty, “Sister, will you be free later?”

Liberty responded, “What’s wrong?”

“I suddenly remembered that I have something to do and can’t take Duncan home. I was hoping that if you’re free, you could help me out.”
