Hayden: “I’m short on time, Mr. York, and I can’t keep pestering you. If you’re hungry, please sit down and eat. If not, kindly take your flowers and leave.”

After being glared at by her sister, Hugh dared not speak again.

Kevin quickly sat down next to Hayden and cheekily said, “I’m hungry, so let’s have dinner together, Mr. Queen. I won’t pressure you to accept this bouquet of flowers. From now on, as long as I’m in Jensburg, I’ll send you flowers every day until you accept them.”

Hayden: “I accept it, so you won’t give it away?”

Kevin: “No, you’ve accepted it, so I’m going to give it away.”

Hayden pursed her lips, pretending she hadn’t said anything.

The butler brought out the prepared dishes from the kitchen.

Once the dishes were served, the butler placed two unopened bottles of fine wine on the dining table and said to Hayden, “Master, these are the two bottles of wine you requested. Please remember to take them with you later.”

Hayden: “Okay, please put them in a bag for me.”

The butler went to fetch a bag and filled it with the two bottles of wine.

This wasn’t Kevin’s first time dining with Hayden. Knowing she ate quickly, he refrained from talking much. Instead, he savored the chef’s cooking at his fiancée’s home, thinking there was room for improvement, and that one day he might show Hayden his culinary skills.

Ideally, he would cultivate her taste so that she would find it hard to leave him.

After dinner, Hayden set out after resting for ten minutes.

Kevin still followed her.

Before getting into the car, Hayden turned to Kevin and said, “Mr. York, I’m heading to the banquet now, so please stop following me.”

Despite her social status, she still had to participate in various activities regularly. Tonight, Hayden was particularly excited. She anticipated attending the banquet, which would allow her to finally distance herself from the persistent Kevin. Kevin had not been in Jensburg for long, and the invitation for tonight’s banquet had been sent out two weeks ago. Hayden believed he wouldn’t have received an invitation.

However, as Kevin placed the bouquet of money he hadn’t returned back into his car, he smiled at Hayden and said, “Coincidentally, I’ll also be attending the banquet tonight. We always seem to cross paths, and our destination is the same.”

Hayden was taken aback. When had he received an invitation? Did he somehow know her plans for the evening and arranged to be there? Too uninterested to inquire further, Hayden got into her car, followed by her brother Hugh. Since they both planned to drink at the banquet, he decided to join her rather than risk driving afterward. Their driver would bring them home safely if they got drunk.

Before long, several cars left Hayden’s villa and exited the Yuvinn villa area. The banquet was being held at the Greenrest Hotel, operated by Queen Enterprise. Greenrest Hotel is one of the finest and most luxurious hotels in Jensburg. Directly across from it was the Fortress Hotel, managed by York Corporation.
