Chapter 1950

However, she concealed all of this from her adoptive parents and brothers, fearing they would view her as a vampire.

She had never considered herself the daughter of the Farrell family, destined to belong to a billionaire family. Instead, her adoptive father had played tricks, swapping her with Shiloh, which led her to grow up in a harsh environment.

Her biological parents and three older brothers had recognized her, but this did not stop them from continuing to love Shiloh, the imposter daughter.

Despite Shiloh’s father’s actions, and even though her mother punished her, she could not abandon Shiloh and continued to keep her as the second lady in Shiloh’s family.

Both she and Shiloh were born on the same date, but Shiloh was ten minutes older.

As a blood relative of the Farrell family, she was destined to become the head of the family and was thus designated as the eldest daughter.

“Young Master Queen.”

The patriarch of the Farrell family, at 70 years old, was well-preserved and appeared to be in his early fifties.

Next to him was Shiloh, whom he cherished and raised as his own daughter. Upon arriving, Shiloh’s gaze was fixed on Hayden, unable to look away.

“Young Master Queen, Kathryn didn’t bump into you, did she?”

Patriarch Farrell asked Hayden with concern.

Hayden replied, “Mr. Farrell, it was my bodyguard who accidentally bumped into Miss Kathryn. Thankfully, she is fine.”

When Patriarch Farrell learned it was Hayden’s people who had collided with Kathryn, his initial response changed. He said, “It’s alright; our Kathryn has grown up in the countryside and can’t handle heavy work. She’s sturdy, so she won’t be hurt.”

Whispering resumed. It is said that after Kathryn returned to the Farrell family, Patriarch Farrell’s feelings for his biological daughter had always been lukewarm. Additionally, since her biological daughter did not grow up by her side, she had no emotional connection to her. Back then, it was not easy for the cold-hearted Patriarch Farrell to show kindness to Kathryn.

However, no matter how strained his relationship with his biological daughter was, he could not publicly claim that she was thick-skinned in front of so many witnesses. When Patriarch Farrell and Shiloh approached, Kathryn lowered her head as if she had done something wrong and feared reprimand, evoking sympathy from those around her.

Despite being the daughter of the Farrell family, Kathryn suffered greatly due to Shiloh’s biological father, who continued to overshadow her with his affection for the family, openly and covertly bullying Kathryn. The Farrell family members also looked down on Kathryn, resenting her rural upbringing, which they believed made her unworthy of the spotlight. Yet, as the only daughter of the head of the Farrell family, if Kathryn was not allowed to inherit, there would be no heirs.

Regardless of Shiloh’s popularity and favor, once her true identity was revealed, she lost her claim to the title of heir. Some older members of the Farrell family, without notifying the head of the family, discreetly sought information on whether the two daughters of the previous head were still alive. Originally, Kathryn was not meant to inherit the title of Patriarch in the Farrell family; they were merely attempting to rectify the situation. Unfortunately, the two daughters of the former head had been missing for decades, and their quiet search had yielded no news thus far.
