Camryn also called out to her brother and sister-in-law.

Immediately, they sat down opposite her.

Serenity asked with concern, “Camryn, are you okay?”

“It’s nothing serious, but the back of my neck still hurts. Thank you for saving me, Sister-in-law,” Camryn replied gratefully.

Serenity responded, “We’re all family, so you don’t need to be so formal. However, it’s important for you to have bodyguards accompany you in the future. It will be safer and give us peace of mind. I just happened to run into you today and rescue you; otherwise, the outcome could have been dire.”

Feeling a bit scared, Camryn said, “Callum just told me to have the bodyguards follow me closely.”

If she hadn’t taken over the Newman business, she wouldn’t have needed bodyguards. Now, having become a target for her two elder aunts, she suspected that today’s incident was their doing.

She no longer hesitated about her safety and agreed to Callum’s plan to have the bodyguards accompany her openly rather than covertly.

“That’s good. The bodyguards are already following you. You may feel uneasy at first, but you’ll adjust over time,” Serenity assured her.

Serenity had not been accustomed to having bodyguards before.

She often felt that their presence restricted her every move, controlled by her husband.

She still found it difficult to adapt.

This was also Zachary’s promise: the bodyguards were there solely for her safety and would not disclose anything else without her consent.

With Zachary’s assurance, Serenity became more comfortable with the idea of being followed by bodyguards.

“Do you have any concerns about this?” Zachary asked quietly.

Zachary replied, “I can’t think of anyone else except for my two elder aunts.” He then hummed thoughtfully and addressed his younger brother, “Callum, if you need help, just let me know. Otherwise, I’ll assume you can handle it on your own.”

Callum responded, “Brother, I can manage this. If I need help, I’ll tell you.” Being brothers, Callum felt comfortable enough not to be overly polite with his elder sibling. However, he didn’t want to rely on Zachary for everything, especially since his brother had his own busy life. Moreover, Camryn was his partner, and he felt it was his responsibility to protect her.

Listening to their conversation, Camryn felt deeply touched by Callum’s affection for her. She pondered what qualities she possessed that inspired such sincere feelings from him. What kind of family was the York family, and how did she measure up against them? Despite her lack of education and her blindness, Callum accepted her without hesitation and genuinely cared for her. Although it was Grandma May’s wish for them to be together initially, over time, Callum had truly fallen for her.

This was her fortune—she felt incredibly lucky to have met Callum. With him by her side, she felt secure, as if nothing could bring her down.

Zachary then asked, “Your sister-in-law and I will head back to the villa later. We plan to spend this weekend there. Do you both want to join us?”

Callum turned to Camryn and asked warmly, “Camryn, would you like to return to the villa for the weekend?”

Camryn replied, “Wherever you spend the weekend, I’ll be there with you.”

Callum smiled and said, “Then we’ll go back to the villa with our eldest brother and sister-in-law.”

He addressed Zachary once more: “Brother, please inform the family group that everyone in Wiltspoon will return to the villa for the weekend, and our brothers can also gather together.”
