Liam remarked, “Fortunately, Seren didn’t mind these matters and wasn’t upset. She convinced Zack; otherwise, I don’t know how long I would have had to train him. Now that I’m older, it’s quite embarrassing to be disciplined by my son as if I were his grandson.”

Tania smiled and held her husband’s arm. “You can eat later and enjoy more of your favorite dishes to make up for it. You’re shielding me from Zack’s anger.”

She retrieved the medicine list from her mother’s house and tucked it under the coffee table. It was her fault.

However, her son had scolded both her and her husband, and it was she who caused her husband pain.

Tania said, “Let’s go eat.”

At that moment, Josh entered with Jasmine.

“Uncle and Auntie,” they greeted.

The couple exchanged warm greetings, inviting them to join for dinner.

Josh and Jasmine planned to spend the weekend at Wildridge Manor and were frequent visitors to the villa. They were quite comfortable and followed Tania and Liam into the dining room without hesitation.

Despite Zachary’s unhappiness, the presence of his friends and the young couple, along with Serenity continually offering him food, kept him from acting out, and he ate quietly instead.

After dinner, he took Serenity out for a walk after sitting for half an hour.

Noticing Zachary’s discontent, Josh decided to stay in the room and chat with Liam and Tania rather than immediately take Jasmine out, engaging in light conversation and snacking.

Meanwhile, Callum returned home with Camryn.

His parents and brothers were not at home, and the butler quickly informed his parents of their arrival.

Shortly after, his parents rushed back home.

As soon as they arrived, Callum was cornered by his mother, who was eager to treat Camryn, his future daughter-in-law.

well, just as if Camryn were born to her and gifted away like a phone bill.

“Camryn, please come back this time and stay home for a few more days with your mom,” Rosella said, holding Camryn’s hand firmly and gazing into her eyes with such tenderness that it seemed tears could fall.

She scolded her son again, “Why don’t you inform me in advance when you come back? I could have prepared Camryn’s favorite dishes in the kitchen.”

Callum replied, “My brother and sister-in-law said they were coming back, so we returned to get together. We had dinner at Uncle’s place, where Aunt had already prepared a lot of delicious food. Mom, you don’t need to worry about me; I’m not starving, but I don’t feel full either.”

He primarily took care of Camryn, seeing her enjoy her meal brought him joy, making him forget to eat enough himself.

Rosella waved her hands dismissively, as if shooing away flies, and said with exasperation, “Go find some instant noodles if you’re still hungry. You’re grown up now; you shouldn’t expect your parents to worry about whether you’re full!”

Callum responded, “But Camryn is also an adult, Mom! Why are you worried about her not being full?”

Rosella replied, “You can’t compare yourself to Camryn! Step aside; I want to chat with her. Camryn, don’t mind him; let’s talk.”

Callum quipped, “Mom, when you see me, you look disgusted, but when you see my wife, your eyes soften like water. I doubt you were ever this gentle with Dad when you were in love.”

Matthias York, Callum’s biological father, chimed in, “That’s true! Your mother has never been this gentle with me. Callum, if you were a daughter, she would adore you.”

Camryn smiled and said, “Callum, you need to be mindful in life; your mom has treated you very well.”

Camryn appreciated everyone in the York family and enjoyed the overall atmosphere they created.
