Grandma May remarked, “You and Serenity are alike; you two sisters share the same personality. When I visit Duncan at Lewis’s house later, he will be delighted to hear your words.”
Liberty responded with silence.
It seemed that Grandma May had become quite fixated on this notion that month.
All the eligible grandchildren in the family, after resolving their issues, turned their attention back to her.
“Knock, knock, knock.”
Someone was at the door.
Liberty released Grandma May’s arm and said, “Grandma, I’m going to answer the door, but I’m not sure who it is.”
Zachary had taken Serenity to the hospital, and he wouldn’t be back anytime soon.
Not many people were aware that the young couple had returned.
Unless it was someone who had access to Serenity’s circle of friends.
Grandma May suggested, “I believe it’s your aunt.”
Liberty approached the door, with their dog Snowball following closely behind, wagging his tail.
When she opened the door, she found Jasmine standing there.
“Miss Liberty,” Jasmine greeted with a smile.
Liberty stepped aside to let her in and noticed two bodyguards behind Jasmine, each carrying large bags. “Jasmine, you brought so much with you,” Liberty remarked.
Jasmine replied, “Serenity is so inconsiderate! I just learned she returned from FC Manor and asked someone to watch the bookstore for me, so I rushed over. Since she found out about my pregnancy, she has been sending me a constant supply of supplements. Now that she’s expecting, I finally have the chance to return the favor. Grandma, when did you come back?”
Upon entering the room and spotting Grandma May on the sofa, Jasmine expressed her surprise and quickly approached, placing her bag on the sofa and affectionately taking Grandma May’s arm.
Jasmine:
