Julian continued, “Ms. Caron, you’re my savior. Treating you to dinner is insufficient to repay the life-saving grace you’ve shown me. Such grace deserves to be repaid with the arrival of spring.”
Kiera replied, “…what about those robbers? How many years are they likely to be sentenced to?”
She shifted the topic.
Julian responded, “I’m not sure how many years they will receive if they are all convicted, but robbery typically warrants at least a few years in prison.”
He was lying, as his face showed no signs of redness and he was not out of breath.
His subordinates were not in prison; instead, they were in the hospital, recovering from their injuries.
Some were hurt by Kiera, while others had simply fallen.
In short, as soon as Kiera took action, his subordinates collapsed. Everyone was in awe of her, the future young lady.
Kiera remarked, “They’re quite unfortunate. I heard that law and order in Wiltspoon is excellent. It’s been years since any motorcycle gangsters have been around. The moment they show up, I encounter you.”
Julian smiled, “I believe it’s their bad luck. They had a poor start. Right when they appeared, they encountered your heroic spirit, which saved me and brought them down. I doubt they ever imagined that so many of them would fall to just you.”
Kiera replied, “You could say the police rounded them all up at once.”
Julian said, “Ms. Caron, I’m stepping out of the car for you to enjoy. I will accompany you everywhere. With me as your local guide, you can avoid detours and won’t have to worry about being cheated.”
If he had the chance to spend time with Kiera, he wanted to make a good impression and wouldn’t pass it up.

Realizing that Kiera was not easily convinced, Julian recalled her gossip about Zachary and Serenity’s relationship. He decided to use Wildridge Manor as a way to persuade Kiera to accompany him.
Kiera remarked, “The name of this villa sounds familiar; I think I’ve heard of it before.”
Julian responded, “Ms. Caron, it’s the hometown of Young Master York, the person you inquired about. The York family’s mansion is located at Wildridge Manor. The villa is stunning, but since it belongs to the York family, it is not open to the public. I’ve met Young Master York a few times for business collaborations, and I can take you and the children to Wildridge Manor for some fun.”
“Of course, we won’t disturb anyone from the York family. The villa is quite large, so we can enjoy ourselves without bothering the master’s house.”
Having supported Zachary extensively, Julian now expected Zachary to assist him in return without reservation.
However, Julian was reluctant to be seen by the York family, fearing that his identity might be revealed, which could hinder his efforts to win back his wife.
Kiera suddenly said, “Oh, so it’s Young Master York’s home! That’s why it sounded so familiar. But it’s someone else’s house—should we really go there to play?”
Julian replied, “Let’s not disturb them; we can just stroll through the villa’s landscaped garden. There’s also a playground for children inside, and I’m sure your students would be thrilled to play there. The best part is that it’s free and far more convenient than taking them to a public children’s park.”
“In those parks, you still have to buy tickets and deal with long lines, which can be quite unenjoyable.”
Kiera pondered for a moment before asking, “Will we really not disturb the York family at Wildridge Manor?”
If you’re interested, I’ll inform Young Master York. He will then call his butler. When we arrive, a butler will be there to greet us, ensuring that we won’t disturb anyone in the York family.
