Serenity followed Sonny out of the house, calling after him, “Sonny, don’t run so fast! Be careful not to fall!”
“I won’t fall, Auntie! I’m going to play!” Sonny replied as he dashed away with a large bag of toys, joining a group of children.
Their laughter echoed back from a distance.
Serenity turned to Zachary, who had also followed Sonny outside, and remarked, “Sonny is so social; he can play with anyone. Isn’t that great? If he only played with adults all day, it would drive everyone crazy.”
Zachary smiled and responded, “It’s tough being human, and children face their own challenges. They’re labeled naughty when they’re lively and dull when they’re quiet. No matter what they do, adults always find something to criticize.”
Serenity paused, realizing the truth in his words. Being human is indeed quite difficult.
“Do you still want to catch up on your sleep?” Serenity asked Zachary.
Taking her hand, Zachary led her outside with a smile as they walked. “I’m not a sleeper. I’ve already slept all morning. If I keep napping, I won’t be able to sleep tonight. Do you need some rest?”
Serenity replied, “I’ll go to bed later. I’ve just eaten.”
“Perfect timing!” Zachary said. “Let’s take a walk to help digest the food, then we can come back for lunch.”

The breeze is refreshing today, and the weather is pleasantly cool. The sun seems to be taking a break, and the sky is not overly dark. A gentle wind adds to the comfortable atmosphere.
Zachary led his beloved wife to a nearby gazebo, where they settled down. After a while, she took out her mobile phone to check her Moments and browse the trending news.
Zachary remarked, “Don’t spend too much time on your phone; it can strain your eyes.”
“I only look at it when I’m bored, and I won’t be on it for long,” Serenity replied as she scrolled down to see more trending searches.
At the bottom of the hot search list, she noticed a news item about Analia Dawson, a rival she had almost forgotten. Intrigued, Serenity clicked on the article to read more.
The Dawson Group was considering a partnership with the powerful York Corporation. In their city, the Dawson Group was a well-established company with significant influence, and Analia was competing with her cousin Kingston Dawson for the president’s position. Only news about her status could generate such buzz.
The brief article mentioned that the successor of the Dawson Group was currently unknown. Analia, the only daughter of Jasper Dawson, served as his secretary and received guidance from him throughout her life.
