Analia’s abilities were respectable, at least until Kingston emerged. Before his arrival, everyone within and outside the Dawson family believed Analia would be the successor to the Dawson Group.

“Zachary, take a look at this news,” Serenity said, handing her phone to him.

Zachary responded, “Refer to me as ‘My Husband.’ When you call me ‘Zachary,’ it makes me tense. I worry that if I make a mistake, you’ll criticize and lecture me.”

As he spoke, he took the phone from her and inquired, “What’s the news?”

After glancing at it twice, Zachary returned the phone to Serenity, his expression lightening. “What’s so interesting about her news? I’ve already mentioned that the only person who can help her is her father. We don’t need to intervene; he will handle it.”

If Jasper couldn’t manage Analia and Zachary decided to act, it would undoubtedly impact the Dawson Group negatively. Zachary would not hesitate to defend his marriage to Serenity against anyone trying to undermine it.

He didn’t recall the name of the woman who lived in his villa area because he didn’t know her at all, nor did he realize she admired him from afar. Sometimes, when he thought about it, Zachary felt unjustly accused.

He never initiated any interactions with those women.

Could he truly control other people’s feelings? The only heart he could govern was his own, and it belonged to Serenity. In this lifetime, he would be solely devoted to her, leaving no room for other women. Regardless of their actions, it would all be in vain.

“Is Kingston Mr. Dawson’s nephew?” Serenity asked.

“Yes, Kingston is the son of Mr. Dawson’s eldest brother, making him the eldest nephew. He’s quite cunning and ruthless, with abilities that are equally impressive.”

Analia is Mr. Dawson’s right-hand man at the Dawson Group. Before Analia joined the company, the Dawson family believed that Mr. Dawson was preparing his nephew to be his successor.

Although Analia is capable, Mr. Dawson would naturally prefer to hand over the reins to his own blood. However, if Analia fails to lead the Dawson Group to success, it would jeopardize the company, prompting him to reconsider and pass the leadership to Kingston instead.

Kingston is ambitious and previously felt hopeless. After Analia crossed a line, Kingston seized the opportunity. We received not only the photos discovered by Josh but also those taken by Kingston. Behind the scenes, Kingston’s greatest desire is for Mr. Dawson to abandon Analia.

The Dawson Group is large, and Jasper’s family is wealthy. Each of his brothers, uncles, and nephews aspires to be at the helm of the Dawson Group. Achieving that position is akin to controlling the economic lifeline of the company. If they manage the business successfully, wealth will flow in, making it an enviable goal for everyone involved.

“What’s that woman’s name?” Serenity asked, having learned about Analia’s recent troubles through the news.

Serenity had forgotten about her rival who had secretly assisted Analia. Despite Analia’s warning, Serenity didn’t take it seriously and had even forgotten her last name.

Zachary scoffed, “That woman can only help Analia because of her wealth. She flaunts her affluence by living in the same villa as us. I haven’t done anything; I just let her lose her petty advantages.”

“Seren, ignore them. Anyone who tries to destroy our marriage is asking for trouble. If murder weren’t illegal, I would have dealt with them long ago so they wouldn’t dare to come to you with their arrogance.”

“Taking a life is against the law, and you would have to face the consequences. Please, don’t resort to illegal actions. It’s not worth it,” Serenity quickly cautioned him.

She didn’t want Zachary to emulate the male protagonists who disregard the law as if it were insignificant. Regardless of his status or connections, she didn’t want him to bully others or engage in criminal activities.

It simply wasn’t worth it!

She preferred him to be a law-abiding businessman, enjoying the fruits of his hard work in peace.
