While protecting Camryn, they had no opportunity for revenge just yet. Carrie realized she could seek out her two aunts and enlist their help to confront Camryn. However, the aunts were at a disadvantage; after all, they had been married for decades and couldn’t influence the family affairs of her parents. Carrie felt different. She and Camryn were sisters, both children of the Newman family, and thus qualified to compete for the family’s assets. With this in mind, Carrie decided to approach her two eldest aunts to discuss strategies.

After stepping outside, Carrie borrowed a mobile phone from the security guard and called Mrs. Janzen. She inquired if Mrs. Janzen knew the current addresses of her two aunts, as she wanted to find them. Upon hearing Carrie’s request, Mrs. Janzen smiled and replied, “It seems you can’t even get in, can you?” Carrie fell silent and explained, “The second young master of the York family is here helping Camryn, so I can’t get in for now. However, that’s my home, and I will eventually find a way in.”

“I suspected you wouldn’t be able to enter. Your aunts are unable to assist you at this moment. Still, I can provide you with their addresses if you wish to know where they live,” Mrs. Janzen offered. After sharing the addresses of the Chandler and Joyner families’ rental homes, she cautioned Carrie not to reach out again until she had managed to defeat Camryn, then hung up.

As for Carrie’s predicament, Mrs. Janzen had no intention of aiding her. In her remarks to Carrie, she implied that cooperation and substantial rewards would depend on Carrie’s ability to secure those rewards. Carrie had considered asking Mrs. Janzen for further assistance, but she was surprised when Mrs. Janzen ended the call right after providing the addresses of her aunts’ rental homes.

What else didn’t she understand? A few minutes later, Carrie exited the villa area and began walking along the road. Shortly after Carrie departed, the Newman family’s butler rode an electric bike to the entrance of the villa area. He asked the security guard to borrow his mobile phone to call Carrie and noted down Mrs. Janzen’s new number from the call records.
