Hugh followed them quietly, standing helplessly as Kevin pushed Hayden into the car. Before long, the Maybach drove away from Queen Enterprise, leaving him behind.

Hugh muttered to himself, “Kevin is truly the most arrogant brother-in-law I’ve ever encountered. He neither fawns over nor flatters his only brother-in-law.”

After expressing his thoughts, Hugh decided against following them, not wanting to be a third wheel. If he had a brother, he would certainly accompany Kevin to protect him from any harm. However, Hayden was his sister, and eventually, she would marry. Since Kevin was a suitable match for her, Hugh felt he couldn’t tag along and risk being an inconvenience; otherwise, Kevin might complain to their parents, leading to a scolding for Hugh.

In front of their parents, Kevin was far more respected than his siblings.

“Did Hugh not follow us?” Kevin asked Hayden from the driver’s seat.

Without needing to glance back, Hayden replied, “He’s just a loudmouth. He won’t actually follow us. He’s afraid you’ll tell our parents, and he’s still single, even though he’s only ten minutes younger than me. When I got involved with you, our parents naturally turned their attention to him and began worrying about his love life. As soon as you mention anything about him, they scold him, which quickly escalates to pushing him towards marriage. He’s terrified.”

Hayden felt a bit anxious about Hugh’s indecision, but there was nothing she could do about it. She had Kevin, yet she was still unsure where her brother’s other half might be.

In the past, Hayden had hoped to match Hugh with Kathryn, but unfortunately, Hugh showed no interest, and Kathryn didn’t feel the same way about him. Meanwhile, Kathryn was involved with Pedro Fraser.

Kevin chuckled, “I don’t want to keep complaining about Hugh. Who told him to…?”

“Are you always going to be a light bulb and interrupt our dates? He’s such a big man; it’s better for Sonny to have winks. Sonny understands what light bulbs signify.”

Sonny recalled that his uncle often referred to him as a little light bulb. The more he reflected on it, the more he realized that as long as his uncle and aunt were together, he would be called a light bulb.

“You mentioned wanting to tell me something. What is it?”

Hayden leaned back in the car seat, trying to calm her nerves.

They were the only two in the car, while the bodyguard team trailed behind in another vehicle, unable to overhear their conversation.

Kevin said, “My second brother and sister-in-law went to get their marriage certificate today. They just posted a picture of it on Moments, and I’m feeling quite jealous.”

Hayden recognized Kevin was trying to persuade her to consider marriage.

She replied calmly, “Second Young Master York and Miss Newman are already engaged. They can obtain the certificate whenever they choose.”

Kevin quickly responded, “Then we can also get engaged. Once we’re engaged, you can get the certificate whenever you want. I won’t rush you into marriage.”

After a moment of silence, Hayden replied, “I haven’t decided if I want to marry you yet. There’s no need to rush. Marriage is a lifelong commitment, and I need to think it through carefully.”

Kevin responded, “Take your time to think it over. Whenever you’re ready, you can let me know. We can get engaged, obtain the certificate, and plan the wedding whenever you wish. We’ll provide a one-stop service; you won’t have to worry about anything, and you can continue focusing on your business.”

During the wedding days, you can take a few days off to marry me. After the wedding, we need to rest for a month and enjoy our honeymoon. You are usually so busy that you hardly have time to drink a glass of water. It’s important for you to get plenty of rest when we get married. I believe you rarely travel, correct?
