“Brother,” Kiera said, ready to retaliate. “Clearly, you and our eldest brother have decided that I won’t get married. You both intend to support me for life so I don’t have to worry about it. I’m not in a rush; I just haven’t met a man who truly appreciates me yet. If we don’t connect, I’d prefer to remain single rather than settle for less.
