Everyone here must clearly understand that both Kevin and Hayden supported Liberty. Although they had never heard of Liberty’s capabilities, they couldn’t ignore the fact that several wealthy families were backing her. Her biological sister, Serenity, is the eldest mistress of the York family and has ample capital to invest in Liberty. As long as Liberty possesses enough courage and vision, she need not worry about a lack of funding. Those tribesmen, suppressed by Matriarch Farrell and lacking ability, began to place the blame on her in their hearts. Liberty smiled and said, “I’m interested in any project that can generate profit. Is it convenient for Mr. Queen to meet tomorrow? I’d like to pay you a visit.” Hayden replied gently, “Come by; I’ll be available anytime.” Kevin teased, “Hayden, I’ll be jealous if you’re so nice to Sister Liberty. Whenever I visit, you always claim to be too busy or lazy to talk to me. But as soon as Sister Liberty comes around, you say you’re available at any time.” Hayden shot him a sideways glance and remarked, “Sister Liberty and I are in love.” Kathryn also smiled, adding, “I believe Liberty and I are quite compatible as well. If it’s convenient for Mr. Queen, may I also pay a visit?” Hayden replied, “Miss Farrell, when you come here, I can still find some time. If it were anyone else, I wouldn’t make that accommodation.” For the Farrell family, Hayden felt obligated to give Kathryn this courtesy. He had always been optimistic about her and once hoped to bring her and his brother Hugh together, but Hugh never contacted Kathryn. His excuse was that he didn’t want to be the Farrell family’s son-in-law. In truth, he hadn’t called her because he believed that love must be genuine for happiness to follow. While feelings can be cultivated, not everyone has the ability to develop those feelings. Kathryn smiled and said, “I also have a project that I am very optimistic about.”

“Mr. Queen, if you’re interested, you can learn more about it,” Kathryn offered.

“Alright,” Hayden readily agreed. While she was unwilling to cooperate with the Farrell family, she was open to working with Kathryn. The company Kathryn had founded before her return to the Farrell family showed great promise.

Noticing Hayden’s positive demeanor towards Kathryn, Matriarch Farrell’s expression softened slightly. The meal progressed peacefully, and once they finished eating, Hayden prepared to say her goodbyes. Naturally, Kevin would follow her. Liberty simply bid farewell to Matriarch Farrell and got ready to leave with Hayden and the others.

Matriarch Farrell did her best to keep them there, so she rose to see them off. At that moment, she recalled her adopted daughter, Shiloh, and asked Erika, “Where’s Shiloh?”

“Shiloh? Oh, Mom, you asked her to take food upstairs to Dad, but she never came back down. I haven’t seen her since she went up,” Erika replied.

Frowning, Matriarch Farrell instructed Erika, “Go upstairs and check on her. Tell Shiloh to come down.”

As Hayden was about to leave, she wondered what was happening with Shiloh. Was she still upstairs, eating and drinking with that useless old man? Erika hurried upstairs to find Shiloh.

Within two minutes, screams echoed from upstairs, followed by Erika stumbling down the stairs. As she neared the first floor, she lost her footing, fell, and rolled down. Fortunately, there were only a few steps, so she tumbled without injury. However, her expression was striking—shock and fear, as if she had seen a ghost.

“Honey, what happened? Are you alright?” Marco rushed forward to help Erika up, being her husband.
