After exchanging greetings, Kathryn said, “Mr. Queen, I would like to discuss our collaboration on your company’s project. I have brought the plan for you to review.”

With that, Kathryn took the plan from the secretary and handed it to Hayden with both hands.

Hayden accepted it, opened it, and examined it closely.

After reading it, she placed the plan on the coffee table. After a brief pause, she addressed Kathryn, “Miss Farrell, I think your plan is good, but I do not wish to partner with the Farrell Group. I believe your organization lacks the necessary strength.”

Hayden was direct in her assessment.

She was open to collaborating with Kathryn’s private company and was considering multiple partners, but this was merely a gesture to give Kathryn some recognition.

Once Liberty’s company was established, it would also pursue projects from Queen Enterprise.

Kathryn smiled amiably and replied, “Mr. Queen, I understand that our Farrell Group may currently lag behind your company. However, we are a well-established family business that has been a part of Jensburg for a century, with deep roots and significant strength.

I am now in a position to oversee various projects and have a voice in decision-making. If you grant me this opportunity to collaborate, I will strive to ensure mutual success and will not hinder your progress.”

Both Kathryn and the secretary were aware that today’s conversation might not yield results, yet they felt compelled to put forth their best effort.

Hayden allowed Kathryn to extol the virtues of the Farrell Group, but she remained steadfast in her original stance.

Finally, Kathryn concluded, “Mr. Queen, business cannot thrive without benevolence and justice. Our Farrell family may not have impressed you this time, but I hope we can explore the possibility of collaboration in the future.”
