-Silence enveloped the ward.

The city gradually settled down as the night progressed.

The following day.

Yuvinn villa area.

A Maybach was parked in front of Hayden’s private villa.

Kevin stepped out of the car, carrying not just a bouquet but several elegant bags as well.

He approached the villa’s entrance and rang the doorbell.

After a brief wait, the butler opened the door. Upon recognizing Kevin, he smiled and said, “Good morning, Mr. York; our eldest young master is still asleep.”

Hayden had returned very late the previous night. However, she often stayed out late due to her busy work schedule and numerous social engagements.

At the banquet the previous evening, she had stolen the spotlight and drawn everyone’s attention.

She didn’t linger at the Talbot family gathering. After greeting familiar bosses and discussing business for about half an hour, she and Kevin departed with their bodyguard entourage.

Upon returning to the Queen family’s old house from the Talbot family, she quickly changed back into men’s clothing, opting not to wear the fake abdominal muscles anymore. Though she wasn’t plump to begin with, the colder weather prompted her to add an extra layer of clothing and a suit jacket. In her eyes, she remained the handsome Young Master Queen.

Afterward, Hayden returned to the Yuvinn Villa area and spent the night in her private villa.

Kevin smiled and said, “It’s alright; no need to wake her. I left home a bit early, worried I’d be late and miss having breakfast with her.”

The butler glanced at Kevin’s car and asked, “Why doesn’t Mr. York’s car come in? If it doesn’t drive in,

“It’s okay to park at the door,” he said. He positioned himself to prevent media reporters, relatives, and friends of the Queen family from rushing in and obstructing the villa’s entrance. The butler then closed the villa door behind him.

“Did you hear anything?” Kevin inquired as he entered the house. The butler mistakenly thought Kevin was referring to his relationship with Hayden and replied, “I’ve heard quite a bit, Mr. York. Don’t you and our eldest young master care? As long as you’re happy, what others think doesn’t matter.”

Since Hayden and Kevin became a couple, both had adopted a gentler demeanor. Kevin smiled in agreement. “Exactly, live your own life and ignore what others say.”

The butler was unaware that Hayden was actually a woman. Hayden’s private villa was situated in the Yuvinn villa area, where access was restricted, and the landline number had not been disclosed. It was understandable that the butler was not informed yet.

Kevin assumed that no one would contact the butler to inquire. After all, a butler is just a butler. Many relatives and friends of the Queen family remained oblivious to Hayden’s true identity, believing instead that Mrs. Queen had given birth to twins.

Once inside, Kevin set down the elegant bags he had brought, which contained two new outfits, women’s clothing, a necklace, and a pair of earrings—all gifts he had prepared for Hayden. Since she had revealed her true identity, he believed she would appreciate gifts that a girl would like.

“I’ll go upstairs and take a look,” Kevin said, carrying the bouquet as he ascended the stairs. As a frequent visitor, the butler did not stop him and permitted him to head upstairs.

When Kevin reached the door of Hayden’s room, he freed his hands, adjusted his tie, and straightened his clothes to make sure he looked his best when Hayden opened the door and saw him.
