Twenty minutes later, the cars of both individuals were parked in the hospital parking lot. Mr. Fraser was the first to exit his vehicle and quickly made his way to Kathryn’s car. Once Kathryn stepped out, Mr. Fraser assisted her in gathering her belongings. Kathryn had purchased two boxes of nutritional supplements and a basket of fruit for Holden.

“Give me the fruit; it’s quite heavy,” she said. Despite Kathryn being stronger than the average girl, Mr. Fraser insisted on carrying the basket of fruit. Kathryn had practiced martial arts since childhood, making her capable of easily carrying it herself. However, she was not polite about it and asked Mr. Fraser to take the basket while she carried a box of nutritional supplements.

As they walked toward the inpatient department, Kathryn noticed Shiloh hiding in a corner, likely waiting for Matriarch Farrell to arrive. Kathryn spotted Shiloh, but Shiloh did not see her. Mr. Fraser glanced at Shiloh and inquired, “Miss, do you want to drive her away?”

Kathryn replied calmly, “Let her be. She won’t give up, even if I prevent her from seeing my mom. If she persists, she’ll continue to have sweet dreams, which will ultimately be shattered. Let’s see how many times she can handle it.”

Mr. Fraser fell silent as they entered the inpatient building. Shiloh remained hidden in her corner, fearful of being recognized by someone she knew. In reality, no one knew her; those in the hospital were there to see doctors or visit patients, and few had the time or inclination to notice a stranger.

Shiloh believed that everyone in Jensburg was familiar with her, but in truth, who she was mattered little to ordinary people. They had no vested interest in her identity, as it brought them no benefits. They were all individuals focused on their own concerns.
